Congratulations to Caroline Facci from Brazil.
Standard Ladies Champion.

Will there be an equipment check before the match? I'm pretty confident my CZ will pass without having to put a different mainspring in, but would like to be sure so I don't regret not bringing an open gun.
I believe you can ask an equipment check, if is not allowed you can change the mainspring.
-
It says main match is 14-16. Does that mean I can sign in Fri morning and shoot Fri - Sun or do you have to be present for the prematch. Trying to figure out my work schedule and travel time.
My schedule is 14-PM, 15-AM, 16-PM, Squad 31.
Since I had to plan my trip in advance, they gave me my schedule.

My Standard mag capacity is 19 rounds.
STI EDGE .40 S&W

390 rounds. Thanks for that bit of info. Now the stages?
From reading around this topic it seems that production can have 15 rd. mags. no box - standard about the same rounds and the BOX?
My Standard mag capacity is 19 rounds.
-
Since I will need to load different bullets, is there an approximate round count yet?
Thanks

Interesting that Production guns in ipsc don't need to fit in a box but has a max barrel length of 127mm
You can´t do a lot of modifications, and can put only 15 rounds in the mag, I belive there is no need to have a box.

Production:
16.2 Magazines accessible to a competitor during a COF must not contain more than 15 rounds at the Start
Signal. Identifying marks or decals, internal capacity limiters, bumper pads and additional witness holes,
which add or remove negligible weight to/from magazines, are permitted.
-
This rule changed after the World Shoot.
-
What is considered a “sight picture”?
Point the gun to a target.
-
Also, be aware that most of the magwells allowed in USPSA Limited Division (e.g., Ice, Brazos, etc.) will not allow the gun to fit in the box.
Special conditions:
14. A handgun in its ready condition (see Section 8.1), but unloaded and with an empty magazine inserted or empty
cylinder closed, must fit wholly within the confines of a box which has internal dimensions of 225mm x 150mm
x 45mm (tolerance of +1 mm, -0 mm). Note that all magazines must comply.
15. The handgun is placed inside the box with the barrel parallel to the longest side of the box. Rear adjustable
sights may be slightly depressed, but all other features of the handgun, (e.g. collapsible and/or folding sights,
slide rackers, thumb rests, grips etc.), must be fully extended or deployed. Additionally, telescoping magazines
and/or magazines with spring-loaded bases or base pads are expressly prohibited.
16. Only porting of barrels is prohibited. Slides may be ported.
17. 357SIG is also an approved caliber for Major, subject to achieving the applicable minimum power factor. This
concession has been extended until 31 December 2014.

I shoot Standard in Brazil , and I had to change my entire gun to use in the Florida Open.
I belive the big problem will be the mags, with the USPSA mags I pretty sure that the gun will not fit the box.

Announcement on ammo coming probably next week. Looks like we have the approval, just have to get the order forms and pricing on the website.
At the Florida Open, Manny gave me the option of .40 S&W with 1.125 length or 1.20 length.
1.125 length does not work in my STI.
Will I have the 1.20 length option?
Thanks

I´m going.
It´s a unique chance to shoot IPSC in US.
When I went to Florida Open, I had to modify my Standard gun.
I´m still waiting the schedule, to decide the Hotel, and maybe the possibility to stay in Orlando.

Phil sent me another email talking about the waiting list: Waiting List
I´m a USPSA member.
Thanks Kevin.

The slot for the nationals is the invitation letter and they have not been sent out yet. Will most likely be in late May before they are sent to those that earned one and then you may have to get on the wait list. However the USPSA president generally has a few that he can award to foreign competitors or whoever as he sees fit.

Phil answered my email.
He said that he will give me the letter, but didn´t mention slots.
The letter is realy the slot?
Thanks

Thank you lowlands.

Any of these work for me?

Easiest way to travel to the US with firearms is to get a hunting license and get your import permit issues on that, instead of invitations for matches. Your import license will be valid for a full year. I previously used an Alaska small game hunting license (was 20$ online) worked like a charm. I was actually advised to go this route by someone at the ATF/State Department booth at the IWA tradeshow in Europe
Thanks.

I didn´t know that.
I should start looking for another Tournament.
Thanks

e-mail president@uspsa.org and ask nicely. Phil's shot enough matches overseas to know the drill.
If enough people do that, it will magically appear on the web site
Done, hope it was nice enough.

I can tell the will be full of brazilians.
