[Updated AR-308 Options For 3-Gun]

I picked up a DPMS LR-GII 16" Recon model a few weeks ago, put on a Leupold VX-R 2-7. First group after zeroing was 9/16" with Freedom Munitions 168gr HPBT loads. Only gripe so far is the handguard, but I have a Midwest industries on orders.

[(Electronic) Leight, Peltor, or something else?]

I've got a pair of Howard Leight Impacts that I've been using for two years with no problems. Bought two pair of Peltor's, neither set lasted for more than 6 months. I also had a very poor experience with Peltor customer service when I tried to get them fixed.

When squad 13 got to this stage, we were told that the "shot out hole" was not intended to be used as a shooting port. We had to move to the second position to be able to engage all targets.

Always a good idea to bring a few slugs. We've not used any buckshot in the past.

I've been shooting a Triangle Shooting sports prepped VMT since this past summer. Its run flawlessly up until the last two matches. Now its not always ejecting the empty hulls.

Gun was cleaned and lubed after the first match with malfunctions, but still failed to eject on one stage yesterday.

Does anyone have any experience with similar issues? Anyone know if ejectors are available? I've tried Brownells with no luck.
