  1. Heathen, if you look on the label on the end of your box to the right of your searial number below the product number you will find a number like 9068 this number is the manufactur date,to break it down the first number or two is the year with the last three being the day of the year.So with 9068 it would be 2009 on the 68th day(March 8th 2009.)

Another one I have handy is 0361 or 2010 on the 361st day (December 27,2010.)

I hope this helps. Good Luck.

  2. I picked up a .40Pro 5inch testfired it to make sure it worked, got the OK from Dan and sent it. Get one shoot it and if you like it enjoy it,if you dont contact Dan and send it to him when he can take it. Some people like the stock trigger on the Pros, give it a try you might

not feel you need any extra work.

  3. Sports World in Tulsa Oklahoma has the 9Ls in stock,no internet sales though.

I picked up a 40Pro and looked at the 9Ls and asked how many they had in stock?

The counter guy said plenty.I only get to Tulsa once a month so maybe next month.

I like my pro but the trigger seemed heavy, so I put it on my trigger pull guage,

shows 7lbs. But talk about luck,Last fridayI seen Dan Burwell sent me an E-Mail

on thursday and said he could get to my guns, so I sent him a FS9 and my Pro.

  4. Great information thanks, thats what I like about this Forum a wealth of info from people that's been there done that

with no BS,or at least not much, more like playfull banter

I use 771s for my 1911s but never thought about getting them for an STI and tightening them down to fit

the M&P I wil keep this in mind. I was looking at Dawsons sight last night and thought I would give the Double Alphas a try.

    Thanks once again.
