If you reload, why not just load 40 minor Instead of getting a new 9mm barrel and mags? Sure, reloading 40 may cost a little more but it'll take a good amount of shooting to go though the savings of not having to buy the 9mm barrel and mags.
40 minor shoots really nice, I have load data for several powders in 40 minor if you are interested.

Solo 1000, Titegroup - I've loaded these along with N320 to .40 major, similar feel with all.
Ramshot Competition is also supposed to be a good substitute for N320.
I've been using Ramshot Competition, and I've been happy with it.

At one time, GoGun was testing a GasPedal for the G34/35 but that disappeared. I have not seen anything other than a optics mount for the Glock with a thumb rest. The SJC mentioned is the exception but it's not just a thumb rest.
Also bear in mind that anything like that is going to restrict what holsters you can use.
Correct. SJC recommends the CR speed holster which still requires a little sanding to make work.

I have a Comp-Tac International for my glock 35. I had to remold it because the gun kept binding, and with the drop offset attachment the holster kept kicking out to the side on the draw. I just picked up the BSPS Boss hanger with a BT holster, and so far i really like it. Here's the link.

SJC makes a frame weight with a thumb rest on it that looks interesting.

From my experience RS Comp is a little hotter than N320. I've been loading 200 gr Ibejiheads on 3.55 gr RS at 1.140" to make major, and i've been pretty happy with it.

I load out to 1.150" for my Glock 35.

Pre Travel
in Glock
You can shorten pre-travel with a stock trigger bar, but it requires altering the trigger safety and depending on the amount you shorten the pre-travel it could render the striker plunger safety ineffective. I tinkered with mine by press fitting a piece of plastic in the front of the slot on the left of the striker block (when looking at it from the rear). The trigger came out really nice, but I had to file a little off the trigger safety to get it to work. It also kept the plunger depressed at all times. I didn't like having to alter the safeties so I returned it to stock pre-travel.

Brilliant observation that the guy hasn't been on here in three years. However, to the poster today that's thinking about loading 40 with N310, it's not a good idea unless you're really interested in blowing your gun up or your hand off.
DH47, No. Verybad idea. vv310 is very fast. You might use it in 9mm with a 90gn bullet, but mostly it's used in .45. You are literally in danger of blowing your 40SW gun apart.
Thank you for the concern (not meant sarcastically). I understand the risk associated with N310. I will be using it for a minor load, I'm not trying to make major with it.

This question is over 3 years old and the OP hasn't been here since January 2013.
Thank you for the useful information.

Did you ever find a good load for N310? I have some bayou 180s and ibejihead 200s, and I was thinking of working up a minor load with N310.

Lee undersize die works great.

What powder are you using?
Glock to MP jump for pro
in S&W (M&P, etc)

I started shooting IDPA and USPSA with the M&P. After about 2 years I drank the Koolaid and switched to Glock. I shot the Glock pretty well, but never as well as the M&P. I just switched back to the M&P, it just fits my hand better.
