Good morning. Thank you for your interest in this special event. My name is Jeff. I am the match director. I've been officiating 3 gun matches since 2004. This is the 7th nationally sponsored match that I have created / hosted. I appreciate your concern and often catch the same things that you did.
Due to our repeat competitors asking us to reduce it to a 2 day format we reduced it from 3 to 2 days and from 10 to 7 stages. (Amending the site desc. today, thank you)

*CASH PAYOUTS*
During this two day sniper event, up to 300 competitors will each have 2 minutes to take shots at multiple targets from 300 to 1000 yards from several shooting positions including our realistic rooftop hide!
THOSE WHO HIT THE FINAL TARGET (8 INCH TARGET @1000 YARDS) WILL PROCEED TO
A LAST MAN STANDING SHOOT OFF!
In the shoot off, the competitor who hits closest to the center of the 8 inch target with his single shot will win!. Payouts of cash allotted: 1st Place 50%, 2nd Place 35%, 3rd place 15%! (total of cash paid out based on 50% of paid entries in this event)
Only those who hit the final 8 inch target will be eligible for the three initial cash prizes but ALL competitors will be eligible for the random draw prize table. If no one hits the 1K target or if there is no shoot off needed because only one competitor hits the target in the initial competition, then the 2nd place cash prize will be split up and placed onto the prize table for the random drawing! Each competitor who does not receive a cash payout will be
eligible to walk the random draw prize table.
