pivoting, full profiled tail

non-pivoting, full profiled tail

pivoting, thumb relief profiled tail

non-pivoting, thumb relief profiled tail

thumb relief profile is like those STI grip safety with the left and right side cutouts. I use them and like them much better than the regular, full profiled tail.

[whats the diff in the 2011 stnd or wide frame]

if you are looking to cut weight or go a slightly cheaper route get the standard frame. the std frame is basically the same feel of a 1911 when looking at slide and frame together.

STI charges the SAME price if one orders a standard or wide frame.

Thank you for posting about the sale Not to confuse the topic on which size to order but I called customer service yesterday (before I placed my order) and spoke with Sonya??? she told me to just buy my waist size and they compensate for the rest. I did still order an extra belt 2" longer as the price is so nice.

I called Safariland yesterday and a guy told me that if I am getting a 36 inner belt, I should order a 38 ELS. The price is pretty good, with free shipping. California sales tax applied.
