  1. I think a lot of people are looking for any advise they can get. There isn't a whole lot of places that have Tanfo knowledge on the net.

Another option: tz75man dot forumco dot com (I'm too noob to post links it seems)

Good group of folks. Knowledgeable. Unquestionably Tanfoglio lovers.

  2. I think you should be happy with your "high" prices.

Just to remind you, 1 euro is 1.38 US Dollars.

Holy smokes! Thank you for that. Just scored a Stock II 10mm, and up until five minutes ago I was having regret pangs that I spent $800.00 on it.

    Not so much now.

  3. Could be way off-base here, but I distinctly recall Henning telling me (hell of a nice/helpful guy btw... way more patient with me than I would have been) that the Grams follower requires you to:

    1) Pop out the front (older style) or rear (newer style) follower guide rail in the factory mag so the Grams will fit and travel

    2) Load long for .40 as the follower guide rail helps keeps standard OAL rounds in-place under pressure.

Somewhat of a neophyte to Tanfos in general, but I recall this as I was all giddy about getting reliable 21 rounds out of factory ammo and placed an order for the innards to stick in my factory mags. Henning called me and steered me away (but correctly) because most of what I fire is factory. No follower guide rail + Grams + factory ammo = sloppy rounds in the mag.

Sound about right to those in the know?

  4. FYI...

You can run a 9mm/38super/40S&W on the same platform.

All you need is a barrel change, recoil spring of your choice and appropriate mags for caliber chosen.

It will all run on the SAME (large frame) slide/frame/extractor!

    edited: add 38supercomp too!

edited2: use 38super extractor for all the caliber

Does this hold true for the Match series as well as the Limited? Looking to go 9mm with my Match 40. Would be nice to save a few $$ and only buy the mag/barrel/spring as opposed to a whole new slide.

    Thanks in advance.
