  1. I tried to order barrels for the tactical version, but having a hard time finding a vendor that will order for me. buds won't do it, or at least the guy I was talking to had no idea if they can order one. I email one other supplier that I can't remember and didn't get a response either. I love the gun. Not likening the part availability.

  2. I just picked up my MC312 last night..... sure enough it snows today. Too cold to go out shooting outside this weekend.

Having said that, I'm surprised at the quality of the firearm. For a 310$ semi-automatic shotty, it's seems exceedingly well made. I'm not finding any horrible machining marks or other things that signify bad quality........except one. My front fiber optic sight seems little off center.....

The bolt cycles nicely. Trigger seems about 4+ lb ? Breaks nice too, which I wasn't expecting. I like the slimmer foregrip compared to M3000, which I understand has the inertia system in there.

One bad surprise was that my warranty paper that came in the package indicates 1 year warranty. I've read that it was being updated to 5 year warranty to match other competitors in the industry, so that was a bit of a disappointment. I've sent an email to Girsan to confirm the warranty period AND to ask where I can get an extra foregrip and maybe a shorter barrel.

Will update with more info AND pics when I have time.

    Have a nice weekend all.

  3. I know this is a necro-thread, but just wanted to let you guys know that I just purchased this despite your comments of "buy once, cry once" and etc.

I had about $450 to spend on a shot gun. So, I was "watching" all the used Nova/S.Nova on gunbroker. AND THEN found the MC312 for 310$ brand new. Hmmmm, that's almost the half the cost of a Stoeger m3000. So, it's a Benelli clone for a price of a clone of a clone... if that makes sense . OK, I'm in.

I might not get to shoot it soon since it's pretty cold out here in NY now. But, I'll be doing 2 guns and shooting skeet/trap when it warms up. Let you guys know how it runs out of the box.

Meanwhile, if any one has any info on mods I can do on this gun, I would appreciate a PM or some thing..... The only thing I've found so far is that the Mag. Ext. for Nova seems to fit this gun.

  4. Just few words of warning. Older uspc may have older firing pin that has since been changed to address some structural weakness, which may break with repeated dry firing.

  5. I shot uspsa with usp c 9mm few times. I thought I was doing ok, until I had to shoot a few relatively small targets. I had to shoot them more than few times before I connected. That doesn't happen with my sig p226.

I know I suck, but the sight radius played a role too, I feel.

  6. As a new USPSA shooter. (been to two shoots) I think this is a good point. I have been shooting an area not a point.

    Thanks.

On a similar topic, am I the only one who'd like a visible dot on the center of the A zone ?
