I have a STI 2011 38 super with a comp. Any ideas what the cost might be to swap it over to 9mm. 38 super brass prices are stupid. Who would you have do the work?

I use a Lee crimp and resize die on 9 ,40 ,45 and 38 super.

Congrats on the new Dillon. There a joy to use once you get it dialed in. Enjoy.

I would pull it apart and check for powder residue.

Good choice getting the 650 to start with. I load all my pistol rounds on a 650. And my 223 on a 550. Get a led light for it. In line fab. makes a good light kit.
-
Which ever one you chose be sure and get the inlne fab. led light system for it money well spent.
-
Get the 650 with the CF. It's like Lifeislarge said, buy once cry once. Very well said. I started with the 550 and moved up to the 650 a few months later. I cried twice.

What's the general consensus for reloading 9mm for a steelmaster, 115gr or 124gr bullets ? Just looking for a good round for shooting steel.
-
I like to put them in the tumbler for 5 or 10 min. Seems to keep my mags and gun cleaner.
-
I bet your going to love that 550 so much you'll have to get a 650.

I see them online, I'll have to get one and try it out.
Lead cast bullets in a DAA MR Bullet feeder
in non-Dillon Reloading Equipment
Posted
I shoot a lot of Lead cast bullets in my 45. I am looking at getting a Mr Bullet feeder for my Dillon 650. Was wondering if anyone had any problems with lead cast feedingin the mr bullet feeder ? I did read that some people have dusted the bullets with mica. Any lube preference ?
