Ive reloaded the same case a couple times. Mostly just leave it that's why you shoot 9 major.

Have you tried a Dawson posi lock mag catch. It helps prevent overinsertation of the mags.

2011 all day long.

what does 7.4gn of PP chrono at?
-
My 2011open gun. 8lb recoil. 17lb mainspring. 2lb trigger. I light off CCI SPM /SRP with no problems. Sounds like you have a solid set up. I would watch for high primers. Call the builder.
-
I use CCI SPM with HS6 for my 9 major load. I think it burns the HS6 a little cleaner not so much power residue gunk left over.

My Bedell is about 6mo. old and I have the new comp. I think the design is about 1 yr old.

great DIY youtube video Adam from atlas gun works

Yup. I had the same issue. 1.145 was as long as I could go with PD. Now I just use MG CMJ and load to 1.170.
-
yeah. the ogive is higher and contacts rifling earlier.
-
PD 124 JHP could only load out to 1.15. I can load MG CMJ RN to 1.175.
-
I've got the same gun/barrel combo. With blue Bullets 125RN 1.16 was the longest I could go. Also it leaded the comp something awful. I'm now loading MG CMJ which Dan recommends.

Yeah just a grip swap. The 120 mag will not fit then.

Other places for action practice in DFW. TDSA in Ferris and ETTS in Waxahachie.
-
First thing and the cheapest is to check the sear spring tension. Sounds likes it need more.
-
Dallas pistol club is a 3 yr wait. I know I just got in. Try pro active defense it's out at 35W and 1171. You can do all the action shooting practice there.
-
crimp does not prevent setback. Proper sizing does. You also could be over belling the case which would cause the issue. A U die (undersized) will help.
-
why not get PT shielded safety
-
If you know how to fully strip your gun for cleaning.(if not gunsmith). Get an Ed brown jig and a couple of stones. About 100 bucks. No gunsmith wait or shipping charges.

nice. looking forward to it.
