I would be interested in knowing which stage/stages we will need shotgun slugs?
Could any one give me a ball park time of when we will finish on Saturday? I only ask because of my drive time(3hours) I'm still on the fence about getting a room .

First time at this match. Wife is on a different squad.
What's the range/stage layout situation?
Are things close enough we can both centrally work out of one vehicle or do I need to pack ammo load out separate so she can bum a ride with someone on her squad to whatever stage they're going to?
Pits are close. No driving to stages, cart would be best.

funny you mentioned the pattern shift with the Carlson's LM, my 1301 will not shoot slugs accurately with the Carlson's LM, any where near what it will do the factory IC, 18"groups at 50 versus 4" groups. The IC shoots such great patterns I may wind up not using the LM.
Also since I no longer shoot for Benelli, I will have my 1301 at USPSA nats, for anyone that wanted to shoot it with the Mega kickoff, just provide your own ammo.

I'd stick a dawson toolless flgr in it and then run it like you stole it. These are so gentle in 9mm I find the rm unnecessary and a nuisance during stripping.

I just picked up my first 2011, a STI Eagle 9mm. This is my first 1911/2011 style pistol. I'm mainly going to use it for 3gun type stuff and some steel matches. I'm looking for suggestions on base pads and any other tune up parts. I did get a Dawson Ice magwell from my buddy so far.

Am I doing something wrong with registration, I get no response in or out?

I shot M&P's for the past three years. Yesterday I took my brand new 2011 5'' Eagle to the range. I shot the best groups ever with a pistol. One of my problems is ''trigger jerk'' I always drop the front of the gun when pulling the trigger. After yesterday that all changed with the 2011.
I truly believe the 2011 will help me alot.

Quick question from a new 3 gun shooter ... I have 2 others who are interested in doing this event with me. Will each of us be required to have all 3 fireams or is it more of a relay type thing where each person shoots a specific gun before the next person starts?
Also if you look up Colt 3man on youtube, you'll find some video which might help you out.

Just got a 1301 24" myself and must say I love it so far, even with 1-1/8 loads it shoots soft and fast. Plan to use it in tac ops.
I sent Lancer a msg asking if they have their carbon fiber tubes ready for these yet, if I don't hear from them after Shot is over, think I will try a RCI tube.
Lancer tubes are in, my dad has one on his 1301

Stock follower is heavy compared to the nordic

Looks like Joe bob Outfitters has them in stock so I went with him. I have been hearing complaints about Buds (to the point a local FFL will not accept transfers from them). Little more than I wanted to spend since Grabagun has them listed for 100 bucks less, but its not too terrible considering they claim to have them in stock
Now to get some choke tubes and a Nordic extension
I purchased my 21" model from Grabagun. They shipped quickly for $5.99. Nordic MXT +5 tube from Nordic and Carlsons chokes from Optics Planet.

Pat, if I were to buy a couple of chokes, or even just one choke, which one should I buy (full, IM, etc) ? I'm just plinking.
I would like a general purpose one that will shoot slugs as well. I'm just plinking with this and will maybe shoot some clays as well. I think I saw someone say that the IM shoots slugs better than the included IC.
I would like to get an extended choke just so the barrel is the same length as my Nordic extension.
If I could only have one choke tube it would be LM.

Another great trip to Topton. Dean always puts on a great match, but I think even he didn't realize how good a job he (and his staff) did this year. Six fun, challenging stages and we were done by 1:30!
Now, another year till the next one...
1:30, I still can't believe it. Super smooth match.

My 1301 goes click but no bang. Firing pin and bolt look good, trigger group looks good. gun is about a year old. Calling Beretta in the morning. Any thoughts?
