Sorry but the lee dies suck. Rcbs hornady and redding are my choice. I have been reloading for 30+ years and do not like lee dies. Just my my personal opion.
-
Reloading is not for everybody. If you do not have the want or the nick for it then stay away from it. I shoot several guns that have never had factory rounds made for them. So I dont have a choice but to load. Turn the TV or the radio off and go to work if you want to reload.

My son shoots a Tuarus PT 1911. Has about 5k through it. I shoot a PT 1911 also with about 3k througt it. Both have a s&a magwell and a fiber front sight. Other than a little clean up and polishing here and there they are other wise stock. Have had no problems with either gun. This is SS shot and have fun.

I have had a few injuries to my right eye. It has been removed 3 times to cut steel out of it. I had a problem a few months ago with it. Went to a good eye doctor and with the right meds. I now have 20-20 back in that eye. So what I am saying is dont give up hope. It can get better with time.

I have used them every way I can. The wrong way and your way and have come to decide they suck. I can not keep them in correct. I will not use them again. Just my two cents worth.

I dont lube pistol brass . I do use carbide dies which dont need lube.
-
Why are you lubing pistol brass? Most likely you have carbide dies, which don't normally need any lube, in my 40+ years of reloading the ONLY pistol caliber I've found that needs any lube is 44 magnum, for some reason my 44 mag cases do need to be lubed.
To remove lube from cases I just put them in the tumbler with walnut media for 15-20 minutes.
Never use Brasso in your tumbler, the ammonia in it attacks the brass. There are lots of polishes made for reloading that are suitable, but when you are removing lube you really don't want any additives in the media.

Our prayers go out to all that fight for our rights. I want to thank every one of them.

I looked at one the other day. They do not have a spring in them. When it is pulled back into your shoulder you can not touch the trigger, but pull forward on the forearm and it starts. The shop owner had a video of himself shooting one and it worked really well. A good way to waste a lot of ammo.
