I have been trying to find a S&W 1911 Pro Series for Months. Where is this one located?

It's in Denmark, so it's probably a bit too far away.....

Hi guys,

I'm thinking about investing in a 1911 type pistol and have just seen that a local dealer has a Smith and Wesson 1911 Pro Series. It looks very nice indeed, but is really on the edge of my price threshhold at present (it's almost twice as much as a Glock or Cz!. Does anyone here have any experience with these pistols? Is any modification necessary to make them competetive, or are they ready to roll from the box? Do regular Colt 1911 magazines fit?

I've very little experience of prone pistol shooting, but can only agree that the traditional prone position with elbows down is difficult to control.

Unfortunately I can't seem to get the Saul Kirsch video to work. Does anyone know of somewhere else where it is hosted?

Hi guys,

I live in Denmark and am thinking of taking up IPSC. I found this site from the links on www.dsf.dk which is the Danish Sport Shooters Federation's website, and I'm hoping to find some useful information on training.

I've been shooting for the last three years or so, but it's mostly just been slow fire at the club, and now I'd like to try something with a bit more action.
