  1. I'm very sorry for your loss :( They just don't spend enough time here with us, do they?

Every day of my life i try to give my dog CODY half the love and devotion he gives to me and i always remember that both of our days are numbered and i cherish our time together. Very sorry for your loss.

  2. The dillon carbide sizer and a case lube make a big plus as compared to a standard die. Much easier to size and more consistency.

Trim cases once after first firing,GIRARD TRIMMER is the bomb.

I use WINCHESTER brass ,its hard with good volume and no primer crimp to hassle with.

AA2230 with 55 gr. HORNADY FMJ for short range.

VARGET AA2520, 4895, for long range with SIERRA 77gr.

HARRELL powder measure ror accuracy, does take a lot of time though.

REDDING competition bullet seater is the best.

    GOOD SHOOTING.

  3. Another advantage of the 223 is low cost ball type ammo practical for use on close range hoser type stages.

reloading component availability is also abundant for 223 in contrast to 6.8.

Reloading component costs are also less and of much variety is available for 223 than 6.8.

  4. Found this little guy in my backyard this weekend. First real wild life that I have found in my back yard. I like in the city, and the only real place for these would be a near by drainage ditch.

He was living in a piece of 2inch PVC that I keep in my back yard (which are used for fishing rod holders on the beach). When I picked up the pipe to shake off any dirt and or ants, he slide out, and boy was he pissed. He (maybe she) was striking at me at a rate of about one strike per second. I then used the piece of pvc to round him up, and got my brother to get a 5gallon bucket that was near by. Then we transfered him to a koolaid pitcher and put him in the fridge so he could 'chill out.' Once he was cold enough to be pretty much immobile, we IDed him as a rattlesnake.

I have encountered many rattlesnakes living in Texas, but never have I come across one that did not have a rattle started yet. I guess he has not had his first molt yet.

After an exhaustive search, no of his family was found, but I will be keeping an eye out for momma.

Good looking little snake. Thanks for not killing him. STEVE IRWIN would have done the same. B)

  5. MIXED about 4 tablespoons to a dillon tumbler full of corn cob ,used it for about 15 years, no problems . its too dilute to be deleterious to brass. DID initial chrono tests to check velocity variances which may be caused by degradation of powder by BRASSO.

NO probs or variances determined. B)
