  1. DAA racemaster. I tried others first and some worked ok. This was my first racemaster holster and it was more expensive. But when you add in the quality the ergonomics, piece of mind and as stated before great customer servive you get what you pay for. A great holster i dont worry about dropping my gun.!

  2. I recently purchased a new cz Check mate and after some searching for a holster i chose a

Safariland 014 holster. Nice holster made well. After a fair amount of time fitting the gun to the holster and mounting it on my belt. I made about a dozen draws from it and noticed a mark on the bottom of my trigger guard. The body of the holster is a powder coated aluminum and after a few draws the powder coating wears through and begins to rub on the bottom of the trigger guard.

I do understand a competition gun will see some wear and tear but im not overly happy about scratching the crap out of a new gun. Due to the nature of how the gun must be placed back in the holster i see no way to avoid but to rub every time.

Has anyone else experienced this and does anyone know of a remedy for this ?
