  1. I think it would depend on your grip size. I haven't measured both, but it appears to me that the gen 4 21 with no backstrap is the same as the 21sf.

If you need a larger grip size, or grip size flexibility, go with the gen 4. The only other reason i could see might be the improved rsa, but it remains to be seen if its truly improved.

  2. I am currently using a kinetic hammer to remove bullets from casings. I am considering the Hornady Cam-Lock bullet puller. If I do get one (with the proper collets - 9mm & 40S&W), will I be able to mount it in station 1 (really any station) on the Dillon 550? (The Dillon is brand new - just started this year) Or do I need to consider a completely separate 1 stage reloading press?

I guess another question would be which Collet bullet puller I should really be looking at? The Hornady seemed to be what I thought I needed.

    Thanks for any info.

  3. Hi,

I'm just getting started in reloading and I'm really excited about it. Ever since I was a kid I've enjoyed looking at ballistic charts and reloading manuals... call me weird! :) My 11 year old son has been having a ball polishing brass, so he's following in my footsteps.

I purchased a used Dillon RL550B with Lee 40 SW dies, Dillon 9mm dies, and a 45 conversion kit. I plan on loading 40 SW first, then 9mm, and eventually getting into 357 SIG, 223 Rem, and 6.8 SPC.

Looking forward to participation in this forum.
