  1. Here is the conclusion. The parts can be bought off Amazon for $10.08 shipped if you are a prime member.

    Installation:

    - Remove the tool head and lock ring

    - grind about 1/16" off the top of the 4 lock ring screws

    - place th O ring around the shaft and push it all the way down to the shell plate

    - grease the top and bottom of the needle bearing and place it on top of the shell plate

    - tighten the lock ring until there is just a hair of resistance when pushing the handle back up.

    - put the tool head back on

That's it, you can easily buy this kit for one third the cost of the eBay kits.

    awesome! thanks!!

  2. depending on how heavy you get into multigun, you almost have to have all styles of shotgun loading at your disposal. I see gentlemen at our local matches switch up to caddies and then load 2 styles because they either have positions that require them to go prone or some other position that might cause the shotgun shells to fall. The vest is great but might be difficult in a prone position..... just a thought.

  3. i also run the blade tech removable clips. they work extremely well for me with my psitol holster and my shotgun tube bag when i dont need them

I started shooting 3 gun when the ELS system wasnt available so the blade tech items are easy to mount on the existing equipment i have.

BladeTech has some removable clips that are great.

Have my 3 gun rig set up with them.

  4. Hi All

Who is using in ear hearing protection? How do you like them? What brand are you wearing?

    Thanks

    Jan

im using the sportear custom 210s and love them. i use them for the local pistol matches, multigun and also hunting. The battery life on mine last about 2-3 months, i use them every weekend about 6-8 hours per day on saturdays and sundays.

  5. I just stumbled on to this thread and it sounds like the mag pouch is legal but I think I will call HQ Monday and ask. My desire to run this mag pouch is that I shoot IDPA, USPSA, both with either double stack or single stack magazines and this little pouch will accommodate any of the mags I would use at any given time. Just my two cents, but they do not appear provide any advantage, but then again I am a slow shooter and play the games for the fun of them, not to be the fastest guy out there.

im curious did you ever get a response? I am also in the same boat and would like to use the gear I already have. Can we use 2 of the single pouches or do we need the versa hanger to mount the pouches and eliminate the single bracket?

  6. It took about 2 minutes to order the bearing from amazon and another 2 to order the o-ring. How much more convenient can it get? It would probably take me as long to order the kit from ebay. I got my bearing within a few days with free shipping, everything cost about $5-6. I have two 1050s so why would I pay $60 to get the same thing for $10-12? The part numbers are already in the thread theres no searching or research left to do for the bearing, the o-rings listed should work, if not it won't take much longer. You realize you are paying about 500% more for the ebay kit?

Can I get the link on amazon for the parts you ordered? thanks!

  7. I lose a few kernels from my S1050 while loading 308 for Palma competition, and I'm in the process of working through 4 possible solutions to the powder spillage. The case shake is caused by the shellplate detent, which snaps the shellplate into position a little too vigorously. Here are some possible solutions:

    1) Operate the press more slowly/smoothly.

    2) Tighten the shellplate lock ring.

    3) Cut down the shellplate detent spring.

    4) Install the (third-party) shellplate bearing kit.

If you get occasional problems feeding cases while working the press at faster speeds there's a third-party "case feed fix plate" which is a replacement cam with an improved profile to operate the case feed plunger more smoothly. You can find this on eBay. I'm waiting for one of these to arrive.

    Good luck.

P.S. What cal are you loading when you have spillages?

never knew there was a cam for the case feeder plunger! i get this issue when doing 223 on my 1050 thanks!

  8. i purchased a bulletfeeder from rick recently and set it up on my 1050. Been using it for the past month without any hiccups and i shoot about 1k-2k a month. Rick's instructions are very easy to follow and well written, he is also available via phone or email to help as well. I cant say enough positive things about it and my only regret was buying it sooner.

heres a video i made for the golden bullet match loading 9 major with it, hand cranking taking my time i made 100 in under 3 minutes and 30 seconds.

  9. is the light hit offset on the primer? it could be your recoil spring is too light causing the glock to pull out of battery.

i am also using the Billy's striker and have been running it for almost a year now no issues whatsoever. i run major with Billy's comp as well and either an 11 lbs ISMI spring or a 13 lbs wolff spring, no light hits at all.
