  1. I recently bought the combo pack(ergo roller handle, light and double bullet tray) off of Dan's site for my LNL. Got it in over the weekend and put together this evening. Took out of box and had all installed in 5 mins. Real nice add on's. Ran 100 rounds just to see how the handle feels and I really like it. No leaning over to get the full down stroke. Was able to use standing or sitting on my usually stool. Priming each case seems so much easier.

The trays were a nice addition also. Keeps cases and bullets close.

LED light will did entry light up the inside of the cases as they pass by.

Thanks Dan for the great products.

    God Bless

  2. Inhave a sidewinder that is bent to work with a sideways mount and I find that it sticks out a little far. You really have to snatch it back since the leverage way out on the end is pulling back and to the right instead of right along the bore with a shorter one.

There really aren't many choices though for a left hand racker with a sideways mount. I really hate the right hand rackers.

So are you going to stick with what you have? Thinking of having one cut in on mine.

  3. KBR:

Sorry man I didn't see your post until this thread reappeared.

I used 115's wth hs6 for major and 115s with autocomp for steel. I sold it to pay off a school loan. You can find videos on my page somewhere with the Chromed trubor competitior

Yeah - I resurrected the thread looking for some info on the small STI comp. Were you using the recoilmaster, or standard guide rod with spring? Saw some of the vids, looks like it shot well.

Thanks for all the info guys.

  4. Hello: The TruBor type 1 comp works great with 115gr bullets and HS-6 powder in 9mm major. Extra gas from the lighter bullets and the HS-6 works great. I also added "Hill Hell Holes" on the type one setup I had and it even shot flatter. I lightened the slide some also. Thanks, Eric

Thanks for the info. Since it is the GrandMaster model not to fond of drilling the slide and barrel to add holes in the top. Don't mind changing the barrel/comp. I do have some 115s and some HS-6 on hand now. I will try that combo and see what happens.

  5. Bullitt I have plenty of vids with my competitor with the S1 and or t1 comp. My load is pretty flat but I love alot of straight back recoil in the hand.

Let me know if you want to check them out, they should be on facebook.

Would like to see your vids of the T1 comp. I have the trubor with t1. Thinking of replacing with a different comp. But trying different loads first.

    Thanks

  6. I'm interested in hearing more about using a 9mm G17/22/34 instead of the G35.

The G35 seems to meet two my concern criteria, that being:

    1 It makes major power

2 I don't need to reloading, I can buy factory ammo

    - I don't have to police the brass unless the range requires it

    My 2 cents - I use a G17, SJC C-More mount, SJC 11 Port comp - SJC Magwell.

125Gr JHPs - 7.0 Gr. AutoComp - Makes major barely.

Shoots flat as you will ever get a Glock to shoot.

I can shoot Winchester White Box ammo from Wal-Mart just by changing the main spring and the gun runs fine. Not quit as flat through with the WWB factory ammo.

Did not have to spend a ton of money on the set-up. It is my first open gun and wanted to see how I liked it.

    So far so good.

Also have a G35 that I use for limited class. Hadn't got around to making a load for it, so I use Atlanta Arms 40S&W.

  7. Both my wife & I shoot SJC 9mm Open Glocks with this comp We use 6.8 gr of Win.248 this chrnos @ about 172 power factor. if you use autocomp you'll need 7 gr. for about the same power factor using a KKM barrel.

What gr. bullet are you using? Also what # spring are you using? THX!!
