Out of curiosity, is this a Gen4 gun?
All 3 of my Gen4 guns shot 3" left at 20Y with the rear sight centered in the dovetail. My late 2011 Gen3 gun has the same issue.

226 magazines that are made in Italy are by MecGar, and the US made magazines are by Checkmate.
My Checkmate magazines have exhibited some follower binding, even when brand new. I fixed it by scrubbing the inside of the mag body with 0000 steel wool and Kroil.
The Checkmate springs do seem quite weak, much weaker than MecGar mags.

I would also consider Apex Tactical.

Prior to joining Apex Tactical, Scott worked for five years in various roles with well-known Master Gunsmith Bruce Gray of Grayguns, Inc. serving as an Apprentice, a Gunsmith and Shop Foreman for the custom gunsmithing operation known for specializing in H&K and Sig Sauer pistols. In his years with Grayguns, Scott also taught Practical Pistol shooting side by side with Bruce at multiple Grayguns Training courses across the United States. -
First, I'd start by numbering all of your magazines so you can see if the problem is limited to a one or two mags. In the future, when you have a lock back problem, write down the mag number.Anyway, feel free to offer any suggestionsTo eliminate your grip as being the cause, shoot the gun with only your left hand. Load up all of your magazines with one round and keep cycling through, if it always locks back, it's your grip.

I'm surprised to hear about so many issues with an OAL of 1.15" in Glock magazines.
I've shot over 17K rounds of Federal AE 124g ammo this year, it measures 1.151", I didn't have any issues.

If you buy factory springs, you should check out the Glock 22 mag springs. They're an 11 coil version, rather than 10, and should last longer.

Some of the more recent Glocks have MIM ejectors instead of whatever type they used to use... whether MIM or not, if they work, they work, thing is the newer MIM ones don't seem to be machined or fit exactly quite the same way as the older ones as with all of my trouble-free Glocks the ejectors will fall right out of the slide and into your hand just by tapping on the slide after you've removed the spring-loaded bearing thingy and striker block/plunger and spring, many of the newer ones don't do this until after they've seen some real use.
ck1 - I think you mean extractors, not ejectors.
-
I also had to replace my extractor plunger spring a while back after mine decided to up and GTFO when taking the slide plate off, so hopefully it isn't getting weak or anything, but i'll check that too.
I would double check that you put the plunger & spring assy back in correctly. The metal plunger should touch the extractor, not the plastic spring loaded bearing.

I can't run the match but would like to shoot it.

I know the factory trigger springs (MP 9) are prone to breaking, but how are the heavier MA springs?
-
Also, the G19 Gen 4 won't take the 012 spring Glock is up to with the 17. It uses a spring stamped 03.
For the 19, there is also an 04 spring, which is lighter than the 03.

I would keep a slide lock spring handy. I've seen folks launch a slide downrange when it broke, and the lock fell out.

It's not all of my Glocks, I have nearly a dozen. It's just my late 2011 Gen3 gun and all 3 of my Gen4 guns. Recent mfr Glocks shooting left is not an uncommon issue. IIRC - The pistol-training.com test gun also exhibits the same issue.
