Out of the box 2lb or less. Mine was 1lb 14oz. the way a target guns trigger should be.
Yeah I tried one out at the lgs and he tried to say it was 4lbs, I said no way. Best trigger I've ever felt!

The two lawyers I've talked to said the trigger pull weight won't be an issue in a legal shoot. The problems arise in the case of an accidental discharge and someone gets killed or injured - then the light trigger is a major factor against you. So I guess if you have to shoot someone make it be on purpose and legally defendable.
Good to know. You here so many different opinions on the subject. what is the trigger pull weight on the TS?
-
I've shoot more than 3000 rounds with TS without any problem, and sometimes I wear as a CCW (too heavy). It is a great pistol for sport shooting.
I wanted to use mine for ccw also, I know that sounds crazy. Is there any issue with the light trigger for ccw? I know its not the best thing but would that get you in trouble with a lawyer? I know this is way off topic.

Is this model that was made around 2002 the same as current Tactical sport?

Looking for something as accurate if Im spending the same type of money. Looks like the TS is the way to go and maybe the accubushing. 20 or so rounds is a nice feature over the 1911. May get in to USPSA someday. I have 1911's just looking for something different and the TS fits my hand perfect. Wish i could find a nice used one but looks like Ill have to go new route. I know Ill put the adjustable sights on and have the frame painted so the CTS is probably the cheaper way to go but I like the looks of the full length dust cover.
-
I saw the thread on the AccuShadow that shot 50yd 1.3 inch groups. So if i had the Accubushing installed on the TS would it produce around the same groups?
-
Has there been a ransom rest test on the TS? Can it get close to the Les Baer 1.5 at 50 yards guarantee option or the DW Valor?
I decided on getting the TS but still have the Les Baer and the DW Valor in mind. I realize there completely different type guns. I'm talking mechanical accuracy, I know the gun will out shoot me.
Thanks

Contacting CZ USA or CZ Custom might be your best bet. I would be surprised if these started flowing into the country any time soon.Im getting ready to buy a TS, Id wait if it wasnt going to be to long. Is there anyway of finding out?
Ill give it a shot and see if I can find out. Is there any CZ custom guys here?

I'm pretty sure the Xtreme line of pistols have not come to the US yet, EAA has a nasty habit of making promises they can't keep; which brings me to zhunter's point:The one Im looking at says Limited Custom and is Hard Chrome, kind of like the Limited custom Xtreme on there site. Tangdfolio guns are hard to keep track of the models.
EAA has a tradition of terrible customer service, overpriced spare parts with a terrible selection. Henning Walgren does his best to support us, but he has only a few parts available. On the other hand, Stuart Wong at CZ Custom is a great guy who frequents this forum and will take good care of you, plus CZ USA offers a good selection of factory parts at reasonable prices. If the pistols are the same price, but the CZ is new, take the CZ.If I was trying to decide, I'd also add the availability of parts and service into the equation
sounds like CZ is the way to go.

Good info, the Limited does cost more right? Now I see the thread for the Orange TS and I like!
Not really: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=470670036 http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=470384261
The CZ comes with three mags, the Limited comes with one.

Both the Limited and the TS are great guns for the Limited division here's a comparison I made:
I have the Limited and the TS so I can tell you each has it's advantages and it's drawbacks.
TS Strengths:
-sub 2# trigger out of the box
-with CZC springs/followers/base pads mags hold 21 reloadable with no fuss
-solid, heavy tight gun
-fixed rear sight makes a great place to rack the slide
TS Weaknesses:
-cheesy waffle iron checkering on frame
-cycles best with SAAMI length rounds with jacketed/plated bullets (most lead bullets must be loaded really short and take some work to make reliable)
-cheesy plastic mag well
EAA Limited Strengths:
-aggressive checkering on front and rear strap
-adjustable rear sight (if you like them)
-dead sexy looks
-drilled and tapped for thumb rest/optics
-eats a variety of loads/bullets/lengths (can even use 10mm mags and load longer than 1.2")
EAA Limited Weaknesses:
-4#+ trigger out of the box
-20 rounds with Henning pads/springs/followers (21 if tuned)
-slightly less cheesy aluminum factory mag well (Henning's is much better)
I go back and forth on which I like better

I have a chance to get a Limited Custom HC (Old style I guess since it doesnt have slide cuts) or the TS new, both about same price. Limited Custom HC is used but great condition.
Im just starting out in USPSA so not sure which is a better deal. I looked up the Limited and looks like a $2,00.00 gun.
Thanks

Has anyone figured out whats the best oal for the M&P Pro 40? Im using 180 lead TCFP in the range of 4.5gr HP38 (231).
I just made a couple at 1.14 and they worked fine but im new to this and not sure if thats too short or too long.
The factory Federal I have are 1.13
Ive seen anywhere from 1.13 to 1.18

I still want to ccw my M&P. Is the competition kit to light for carry? Is there a big difference in the competition and the duty? If I have to go the duty route is it alot better than the stock trigger?

If I switch out my bull barrel for a bushing barrel will the TRP Operator be legal for IDPA?
