  5. I had this happen at a night mutligun match. Typically run a 12# variable spring on an STI Edge. Installed a rail to put on a Crimson Trace light/laser combo. Fired a handful of shots to sight in the laser and thought all was good. Not so fast! When I got to the match and had to run more than 5 rounds at a time, the gun turned into a jam-a-matic.

Anybody else experience something like this or have any ideas? thanks.

  6. I hate to say it, but if you need a thumb rest thing to properly manage the recoil then you are not gripping the gun hard enough. I have proven to myself time and time again that any time I have thumbs involved with inward or downward pressure being placed on the gun it leads to inconsistent or strange sight tracking. When I grip the gun properly my thumbs have zero pressure on them. They are simply laying where they end up after the grip is built.

I agree with Cha-Lee - seems like if you applied the right amount of grip pressure, these pedals wouldn't be necessary...
