    They're all over in CO.

    The worst part is when you have a job site in a mountain town somewhere and there's 20 of them doing a crappy Tour De France impression on a narrow 2 lane road at 4mph.

    I have pit bumpers on my CV and some days I'm sorely tempted to mow them down.

    A line from one of my favorite rants from Carlin (regarding cowboy hats/boots):

    "Hey Tex, get yourself a costume consistent with the century you're living in. You don't see me running around dressed as a viking or a pirate do ya?"

    Its this sort of divisive bs that makes it so easy to pit gun enthusiasts against eachother and directly leads to some of the gun laws that get passed.

    Personally I don't get it. You are not duck or turkey hunting. You are not on a secret mission for SOCOM.....why wear a silly costume?

    For the same reason that people who wear football jerseys that aren't players, or flannel that aren't lumber jacks... Or cowboy hats/boots. Its something that works or they like.

    Let it go man.

    MagPul PMAG Question

    After reading many positive reviews of PMAGS I picked up 2 to try. I have not been to the range yet but the first thing I noticed is that they will not drop out of either of my AR’s (JP and Colt) without pulling them out. Is this normal for PMAGs?

    Guess I can try a little careful sanding till they drop free.

    On the back edge should be 2 small tabs that you can sand down until the PMAG drops free.

    That's just another reason I don't do business with Midway. That and there ridiculous shipping prices. "And that's the way it is".

    I understand that boxes and so forth cost money. But when you have these practices, coupled with minimum order 'fees' (fines) plus the insane shipping.... yeah not going to buy from Midway anytime soon.

    I've studied Zen since childhood after reading Musashi's 'Book of Five Rings". The search for mushin is put into western terms very succinctly by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi in one of his earlier works "Beyond Boredom and Anxiety: Experiencing Flow in Work and Play"

    I highly recommend this for those seeking the 'Zen' mind.

    Having said that, be mindful of the Zen saying:

    'If two men meet on the road and one asks "What is the Dao?" And the other man begins to answer him, neither know.' ;)

    Anyone tried the POF Enhanced Finger Placement trigger?

    If you want to move your finger back, try a Stark grip. Best thing since slice bread.

    Truth right there. Also since it lowers your grip slightly, the safety is easier to manipulate and there is less trigger finger fatigue since your actuating straight back. I can run any grip out there and I have 4 starks and one of their forward grips as well.
