    Thank you to all who came out to the Lo Cap Championship match this year. I hope everyone enjoyed Vince's hard work to get the boulders that were covering bays 10-12 replaced with a much finer gravel. I know my feet are happier today because of it!

     

    We are already looking forward to the Hi Cap Championship later this year. I have received some suggestions for stats and will implement them going forward.

    Stay tuned for that match opening for Registration soon!

     

    I would like to offer a special thanks to all the IPSC66 staff who always step up and make Roy and My vision come true. They always support our matches and give many hours of their time. We truly appreciate their support.

    Non club member is $25 and normal discounts apply.

    PLEASE observe the 10mph speed limit until it has a chance to settle in. 
    Also, the 2 gun match on September 30th is cancelled as we need to tear down the equipment from the original 9 bays in preparation for an October 1st berm reconstruction. 
    We hope to have the facility completed and ready for Steel Challenge on October 6th. I will notify if anything changes.

    Thanks to all who came out and shot with us today! It was a long match but great weather!

    Congratulations to Dennis for the rifle win and Craig for winning the range bag.

    I was wrong with my prediction that one of our Canadian friends would win the rifle.... Maybe next time!

    Bay4/5 ran better than I figured and bay 12 was a little longer to get through than I would have liked but we have more data for next year to hopefully help equalize the stages.

    We can hope for good weather for November and if so we will try to get in one more match. We will announce it here and via the Google Group.

    If not we look forward to seeing you next season.

    Online Registration and squadding is open at 8am 10-16-2017 for the October 22nd WCRHC USPSA Match.

     

    Reminder: the match fees for this match are $15 more than usual because we are giving away a rifle, optic, ammo, and a slot to the 2 gun match

    for October 29th. So entry fee for a non club member is $40, $35 for a club member, and normal discounts apply.

    November 27th Match @ Wayne County Raccoon Hunters

    Before the shooting season closes, we want to get in one more match, so on November 27th we will be having a Post Thanksgiving Match where we get together, shoot some stages and then finish up in the clubhouse with a chili cook off competition.  We are planning on a reduced # of competitors for this match (looking for 60 competitors including staff) with a reduced # of stages. If you bring a pot of chili to share at the end of the match, you will shoot for 1/2 price (bring enough to serve 8-10 bowls for example). We will be having a taste test prize of $50 cash for first place, $25 for second and $10 for 3rd place.

    The match pre sign up invitation will go out on Monday the 21st as Geoff will send that out like usual. Please get your responses in asap and let us know here or on our FB page if you are bringing a pot of chili so we know what to plan on. Paul Taylor has bragged he has a spicy recipe for those who like some heat, Jason Peason has talked some trash and Rob Gaffney was talking to his wife about his secret recipe as well this week. Should be entertaining..........besides with many of you having family in town this next week, don't you really want to get away from them and get back out on the range with folks you actually like?  Happy to see you out on the range..............

Tis match will have 9 stages and each competitor will have 1 Mulligan to use on a stage of their choosing. You must declare your Mulligan prior to scoring! This will slow the match down a bit se we are limiting the number the shooters allowed so register quick!     My current Weather app shows tomorrow with no rain for setup, Just insanely HOT! so bring whatever you need to survive the heat for setup. There is only a slight chance for rain early and a greater chance in the evening but we should be done by then. IF by chance a storm with heavy lightning rolls in, I believe the normal procedure would be to Run and Scream like a little girl while trying to seek shelter in the range building, clubhouse, or a vehicle!
