I got those mag holders from a vendor at the IDPA Nationals many years ago.After i bought them they became illegal for IDPA use.They were for a 9mm I modified them with a heat gun to fit the 22 mags.I can't remember what vendor I got them from Sorry.

And since the cat is out of the bag regarding "the holstering incident", the gentleman is out of the hospital, doing well and is now on the way home to finish mending for the next match.

Sounds to me like that would be a good match to avoid.

It was a very good match.It was a match to avoid if you couldn't follow the rules.No one got a dq for nothing.

Well they added 1 stage this year no Springfield Armorey Tour ,no Great Banquet buffet as in years past and $150 dollar entry fee.I have been to many past S+W Winter championship matches and last years was a HUGE dissapointment compared to them.And it seems this years is heading the same direction,I hope not.The match format was changed to allow you to shoot the match in 1/2 day.This allowed for more shooters and limited the number of stages.Also made the stages more simple.Less movers etc.What this means is more money for the people hosting the match.I will spend my money shooting more of the Very good State Matches that are available.

I hope you can add more stages as in years past.Last years 8 stages were kind of lackluster compared to past years.Traveling 14 hrs for 8 stages with a high entry fee really dissapointed me.Just my opinion.This year I will pass and use the money to hit some state matches that I have missed.
