  1. Hello: Try a 9 lb 1911 spring. That is what I had to use for the open Glock 17 I built using WWB. You will have to reduce the spring on one end and cut some coils off. Thanks, Eric

Do you have to cut some coils off just so that the over all length fits in the glock?

    Thanks for the help.

  2. Thanks guys. I just didn't want to order to many different springs.

What are the best springs to order? Are the wolf springs any good? I've never messed with spring changes before.

I'm not new to guns even though these last posts seem to sound that way.

  3. Thanks guys. I'm taking it to the range tomorrow. Should I run particular brand/type of ammo through it for the 100 rounds? Or maybe multiple brands?

Most suggest a quality high brass round to brake them in.

It wouldn't hurt to take more then a brand just encase it doesn't like one.

  4. I did 2 of my own. Its very easy, just take your time. Just make sure you shoot yours before you convert it so that if it doesn't work you can send it in and get warranty work done to it. There is a place in Ohio that does the warranty work now.

I haven't had any issues with my shotgun. I've even made some steel mags for them. They're not the prettiest but the work. They newest ones look like the alum one in my video. I still need to get a different butt stock.

  5. Enthusiast it was a good question to ask.

I'm thinking of getting the dawson's front sight but I will still have to get a taller rear sight to raise the bullets impact. Anyone know of one place to get both?

  6. I've got the Dawson FO on the front of mine and have been very happy. I have a "Border Marshal" that came with Trilux night sights that I still have on the back, so my spacing may be a bit different than the stock sights. With the original front and the Dawson, it's always been right on.

Out of curiosity, when other people shoot your Beretta, do they have the same point of impact issues? Just curious.

Never had anybody else ever really shoot it that knows what they're doing. I've put 2 different laser bore sighters in it and they both pointed right to where the rounds are hitting.

  7. Colt I'm shooting the bulk Winchester boxes.

rvb my Beretta is an Elite 92G Brigadier. I should have put that in there.

Stoney Lane thank you for that information that was very helpful.

Leozinho and rvb do you like that dawson sight?
