[.40 S&W chamber specs]

It is said that there is a wide variance on .40 S&W chamber size among manufacturers and that many are oversize compared to SAAMI specs. How much "oversize" is considered safe? Anyone's experience on this appreciated.

SAAMI max on the chamber mouth is .4324 mine is .432/.4335 (not concentric) aprox .001 oversize at largest plain

SAAMI max on .200 in from the mouth is .4314 mine is .432/.433 (not concentric) .0015 oversize at largest plain

Anyone have any thoughts on this? I keep hearing many production pistols in .40 S&W are over SAAMI. should a chamber this large be considered safe?

I have a USPc that I think may have an oversized chamber. I have been told that the .40 S&W often is found with chambers well above SAAMI max. but not how much above is still safe. Can someone point me to a drawing or SAAMI specs for this caliber? Any info. appreciated.
