  1. We are actively reviewing WW2 rules to accomodate various weapons used during the war. We will be flexible...again this match is a tribute to those that served in the Pacific. We want everyone to enjoy themselves at this match, we will be revising the rules to facilitate this. Besides, there's going to be an additional prize table for the WW2 division...fun stuff in store for everyone.

Already singed up, but how can I change to the WW2 Division?

  2. Reminder that this match is a tribute to the men and women of the United States Armed Forces that served in the Pacific Theater of Operations, those that participate in this division shall receive special consideration and a very rich prize table.

Looking forward to another great match and thinking of switching to WWII division, but was wondering why only Garands and 1911s. My Dad served in the Pacific and he never had a Garand (Navy, they still had '03 Springfields) had an issued S&W .38. Any chance of other WWII era guns being included. Don't want to make a lot of waves, just wondering.

  3. Could mean a few less of the high visibility sponsored shooters, yippeeee, oops, I meant we will miss you guys and gals, sorry you can't make it, but who wants to go to Chicago for an NRA show, really, Chicago seriously, I wouldn't spend a dime to go up there

Just wanted to clarify one minor point. The NRA Trade Show in Chicago is the National RESTAURANT Association. The National RIFLE Association Annual Meeting is in St. Louis.

  4. So far we have received approximately 170 applications. We are working to enter all the data and as soon as we reach capacity which shouldn't be too much longer we'll send out confirmation emails with more information. Golf carts should be ok but we have yet to finalize parking etc.

I hate to be a bother, but I sent my entry on Dec 2, check hasn't cleared. Any way to know for sure if I'm in or not?

If you sent it on December 2nd and it was not lost in the mail, then your are in per the fact that there were over 80 slots open as of last week. Contact the guys on texasmultigun.com to be certain.

    Thanks. Finally cleared 20 Dec.

  6. I took a different route that the other responders. I am nearsighted, with astigmatism, but since I was a cop I needed to see the sights at any time. I got glasses with "occupational lenses", i.e., a TRI-focal! My middle lens is for distance, the bottom lens is for reading, and the top lens (slightly smaller than the reading lens) is to focus just past the end of my outstretched arms, on my gun sights. I see the target normally, then dip my head slightly while drawing and I'm right on the front sight. Not the cheapest solution, but it works all the time.
