That's on the opposite side of the press. Kind of defeats the purpose.
Just a picture of a bracket which can easily be made for any purpose, strong mount couldn't be used because of height, use this one for bullets. Look closely, you'll see another on the other side for loaded rounds.

Does anyone have a good picture of a light setup for a 550 to look into the case to check powder drops?
Came up with this for a 650.....should work for about anything.

On my third re-organization and may change it again. Most under utilized space is the door. Used fabric covered magnets and vinyl coated hooks to support extra barrels. Horizontal brackets can hold a variety of items from holsters to knives.

80/20 extrusion used is 1"H X 2"W X 36"L. You can use an end cap which will keep all the t-nuts intact or remove it to slide accessories from the end. Rail cost was about $40 and is available from MSC or directly from 80/20. The bench top was thick enough to allow routing a trough for flush mount, bolts come up from the bottom into t-nuts to secure rail to bench. Mounting plates are 1/2" thick PVC with counter bored holes to recess the bolt heads.

First of the year huh?.....the Shot Show (January) is traditionally the time when everyone in the industry buys. Sporting goods stores clear out inventories before the end of the year because hunting seasons are over, reduces taxes on existing inventory, and new pricing is announced. Deals are made and contracts signed at the show every year....your contact in the industry should know this. Nothing new here.....

We frequently shoot flies at 100 yards with rim fire rifles. Sprinkle soda pop on the target and let it dry. Flies will land on the paper and go for the dried sugar. Bug blood will always appear around the hole if it's a hit.

35".......plus you'll need enough room to load the case feeder.

Has anyone have any experience either pro or con with Cabela's Ceramic Porcelain Polishing Media. I saw this while browsing thier site. It looks interesting but I wonder if it has nay real advantages over more commonly used media.

Works great, very impressive results......unfortunately it's not recommended for use in my Dillon vibratory case cleaner. I've been using it in a RCBS Sidewinder tumbler. Requires being run wet. Looks like it would last forever.

Maybe I'm living in the wrong place, but I'm not seeing the primer shortage others are. Taking a little different approach searching them out, forget the online method....found all mine at local big box stores, Cabela's, Scheels, Gander Mountain, and Mom & Pop shops. I could post a pic of them but it would probably get people all worked up.

Powder shortages must be a regional thing....I just picked up Varget and some others today at the local sporting goods store.

I agree that a nice Black shotgun can come in handy, but to take it up a couple of notches you need nice wood and engraving. Life is too short to own ugly guns.

I am wondering why they designed it so you can't flush mount a 650 with out having to auger out sections of your bench face to get the ram to obtain full stroke....
As shown in this photo, to make full stroke the arm swings under the front set of mounting holes....if the bench top is too thick the arm hits. I didn't have the height to use a strong mount so flush mount was the only option. Mounting to a secondary plate and cantilevering the unit over the front solves this without hacking up the bench.

$26.00/1000 for Winchester SP...... compared to you guys ordering 20K-30K primers, my inventory is getting a little low.

Rembrandt, ...Is your entire press mounted on a track? It looks like it has the ability to slide from one side to the other with the loosening of just one or two bolts?
Tracks trade name is called 80/20 (The Industrial Erector Set), just a couple of pieces recessed into the bench top. Wanted a clean bench at times plus the ability to swap loading equipment as needed, seemed like a logical solution. Here's a few pics that illustrate it better than I can explain it.

Greg, Thanks for tip on the primer drop tube....a feature I plan to add to mine soon. Great looking bench and reloading area, you can be proud of it.

Local gun shop went through their AR15 inventory (150) in two days, averaging over 9 AR's per hour. Between the run on black guns and handguns, they ran out of FFL forms. Customers were borrowing the stores two wheel carts to haul ammo to their vehicles in the parking lots.
