  1. You found the cause of the problem already. It's windows. I realize, that's what you have to work with, so there's nothing to be done for it, but, it's windows.

I agree! But like you said, it's what they use at work and we have to deal with it.

  2. Glenn, we have an laptop at work that is doing something similar. Every time you reboot the computer the icons on the quick launch bar change. They still open the correct program, just different icons. If you close the quick launch bar and reopen it, everything is fine. Called IT and they looked at it, don't have a clue as to why. All of our systems are the same version of Windows and everything is self updated, but this one is funny.

  3. Thank you so much for the cupcake! It was awesome! Do they all come with bites in them or did Glenn sample them on the way to the range?goof.gif

Good luck Monday when they announce the winner.

You are welcome, thanks for the votes.

No bites normally, just Glenn not able to make up his mind on what flavor he wanted! LOL

The winner has been announced to us, and we did not win, but I can't say who did yet. Again, thanks for the votes!

  4. Thank you Heckler! Just let me know and I will hook you up with a free cupcake. Just ask Glenn (CZinSC) how good they are!

Hmmmm, cupcakes. I'll probaby see Heckler on Saturday at the match...I'm just sayin'. So if there are any extra cupcakes laying around the shop with no homes, we'll take care of that for you!

Um....Yes any orphaned cupcakes would be welcomed. Did I mention yesterday was my birthday?goof.gif

    Vote cast again.

Thank you for another vote! Happy belated birthday! I will talk to Glenn and we may be able to swing a cupcake for you, just don't let everyone at the match see you, they may be jealous.

Thank you all! We really do appreciate all the votes we can get.

Corey, we did not even get to vote on the couple. If you are not to picky about your wedding, find one of these giveaways in your area.

Just a reminder to all, you can vote once per day! Also let your significant other (or yourself) take a look at our photo albums and Facebook page to see some photos of some of the great cakes we've done in the past. One was a 150lb, 36" diameter Earth for Earth Day done for a corporate client.

  7. My wife is one of the vendors in a local Dream Wedding Giveaway. I would like to see if I could enlist the help of my fellow BEnos members to vote for her wedding cake as the one to be given to the lucky couple. Her company is Couture Cakes of Greenville and the link for voting is: http://wspa.upickem.net/engine/Welcome.aspx?contestid=28383#pd_a_5089971 If you vote, please reply to this post and let me know!

  8. BMWs are great cars. My wife just traded her '06 330 for a '11 Z4. It is a lot of fun to drive, but I haven't even figured out the paddle shifters yet :roflol:

Did she get the 3.0i, 3.5i, or 3.5is? If it's either of the 3.5's, it has the 7-speed double clutch transmission. That thing shifts like crazy. Dang near the SMG transmission in the M's.

    Trey

Her's is the 3.0i. We drove the 3.5is and it was AWESOME, but not worth the extra cash for us. Maybe next time

Yeah, the extra power is nice, but just a extra luxury. The only way I justify it, was the extra standard features you get with it.

  9. I am not a car guy. But, years ago I had an '88 325is that was a pleasure to drive. Redline in 3rd was about 85mph, 4th @ 110, and I hit the governed top speed of 128 a few times. All w/ a little 170 hp inline 6. I'm glad I lived through owning it! I traded the car on a pickup truck, which is what I've drove since.

Even with all the power increase that these new cars have, the speed limiter is still there. Just now it's up to 155mph.
