  1. I would recommend in order to speed up hands the following:

Grab two rounded ends dumbbells (2-4KG) and imitate the reloading sequence till failure,  after 1-2min break repeat and do a total of what your body tells you: 4 - 7 sets.

Than grab gun and real-weight mag and do several sets again - you'll notice faster times immediately!

  2. Hi guys,

Just installed and adjusted the Mr Bullet Feeder on Dillon.

Tested around 100 bullets 9mm 124gr with polymer coating and 2-3 went with the nose down instead of bottom down.

I have the strange feeling that they turned while falling through the spring section.

Any similar issues and how to solve if not change bullet type ;-)

    Thanks

  3. Hi. I'm fairly new when it comes to competitive shooting and I'm very interested to try this drill. But we only have an indoor range so I won't be able to set up 3 targets side by side. Do you have any suggestion how I can recreate this drill in an indoor setting? Thanks guys!

Btw, this forum is a goldmine! I'm glad to have stumbled upon it!

How large is your indoor range at the very backstop end?

  4. The competitors' registration itself will be process by the RDs through the registration panel on the match website. The RDs will be given some web access details valid for the registration purposes only. Currently the system is already functional but under some testing by our IT team.

The other necessary information as your travel details, boarder crossing points, gun manufacturers' numbers, preliminary issuing of local gun import permits (if needed for non EU pass holders), etc. will be delivered later on in the form of very easy to fill in excel template. And again :) the RDs will have to collect and forward those to the organizing committee.

Another answered question from GV forum:

    Main match capacity 330

    Pre Match capacity 100

    How many stages 24

    Round count aprox. 400

    Shooting distances 3-300 м

    Full day format

Please note that if a payment has not been received until end of the banking day on February 29th 2012, such will be considered as a refusal by the Region to utilize the initially allocated slots and those will be counted as slots returned in excess for further reallocation to other interested regions.

Please also note that no deposit will be refunded in case of rejecting and/or not paying the full amount for the additionally requested and allocated slots within the specified deadlines. The match fee of not shown up competitors is subject of not refund.

All payments must be transferred in net amount and free of any bank charges due to the beneficiary considering the following bank details:

Reasons of payment: ERC2012 match fee by Region "Name of the region".

After arranging of each payment, the region must explicitly inform the organizers by the dedicated e-mail for the breakdown of the payment done (i.e. Match fees for X competitors, Y Lady, Z Junior, etc.).

Each region must also inform the organizers by dedicated e-mail regarding the number of additionally requested slots as well as in case of returning of any initially allocated excess slots within the specified deadlines.

Please note that the only one dedicated e-mail for any correspondence regarding the slots and payment information is slot@erc2012.eu. Any other messages sent to whatever other e-mail addresses will not be considered as official and no further action will be taken with such a respect.

I hope to see you soon at the range!

    Firearms Import:

Few information about temporary importing your firearms and ammo in Bulgaria:

EU shooters can enter the country with European Firearms passport and invitation.

Non EU shooter must apply for a temporary import permit issued by relevant authority.

The Organizing body of the Dynamic Shooting Federation will assist you in this process.

We have asked for certain changes to facilitate

the permit-issue process, which are to be formally approved soon and the respective information

will be published on the website, most probably beginning of

    next January.

    - the competitors will be asked to provide their passport and gun details

by filling in the dedicated form from the www; (as soon as available, will be posted here too)

    - the competitors will have to pay in advance, separate from the

match fee, the permit tax which is to cover the fees that authorities are charging for

    issuing the respective individual temporary import gun permit;

    - the Organizing Committee and BDSF are going to take care of all paperwork

    so that at the end the border controls will be notified prior to your arrival;

    - all of the above will follow the implemented competitor's registration process.

    Accommodation:

Our suggestion is for two hotels, they support the IPSC event with special rates:

    Hotel "Izvora"

Hotel "Premiere" sorry for the same reason no links.

You should indicate "IPSC Shooting" :-)

I've been in contact with some US shooter and I hope to see more of you there :-)

Don't hesitate to contact me in case you need additional information on registration or sponsorship program.

    Cheers,

    Alex
