Yes, depends on the bullet weight and shape. I've found tweaking all of the following to help
    - angle of bullet feeder unit itself
    - # of shims
    - position of shim deck, closer or further away
    - how much wobble in case feeder - bullets may flip on particularly difficult case to for or when it 'unsticks' from powder drop (have fixed with case lube and/or mounting bullet feeder to wall instead of case feeder).

.... its helpful to have someone else pull the handle so you can watch from above whats going on, if gets better or worse after an adjustment.

TRGT - Thank you, will run the list and see if that improves the issue.  I also think it may have to do with more than 200 in the collator.  Thanks again.

Stages that have multiple solutions are what my club is know for. As a stage designer, you have to offer a challenge to the shooters regardless of magazine capacity. You have to create something that while being entertaining, it also has to test their skills.

Targets visible from two locations... good. Targets visible from 3 or 4 locations... GREAT!!! Poppers that activate swingers on the other side of a vision barrier, doors that have to be opened to activate drop-turners.... it's all good.

BC - couldn't agree more.  Designed a bunch of stages when I was in GA.  Always a balance act between skill levels of yout matches customers.  The more options the better, and my opinion, when a stage is designed that even the topmGM shoot different ways you Sir have hit it out of the park as a stage designer.

  3. Just did this at local...completely for got to top off big my start mag as I was only planning to shoot 10rds then reload to big stick to finish.  Well...buzzer goes off plan goes with it, left doing a standing reload...like a boss!   Lesson learned...don't be cute with loading to capacity!

Yep.  Plus the lost possible 10 pts for 2 As.  FTSA can potentially take you down 40 pts.  Wow.

Done it , defiantly a match killer....mine was at a tourney....first FTE in 5 years plus.  Still hurts to talk about it to ?

You can look  Lone Star Innovations website and get Glenns phone number off of there. Call him and he can sell you a steel or titanium comp over the phone. I bought one of his titanium comps for my open gun I'm building.

Thanks will hit him up in Monday

Thanks for the exposure, I hope this works out well. :)

I wouldn't sweat the pain from the pipe wrench, those things tend hurt for a few days but I don't think really set you back. I tell my patients to just keep lifting and shooting, and that it's better if they don't think of their tendinopathy and the ups and downs as a big deal.

Sounds like you are doing things about 90% like I do them so I expect it will work. Difference I usually do is, use each exercise with an easy set (kind of a warm-up) a medium set (where you are working pretty hard but technique is real clean) and a hard set (where when once you have worked up to, you can't get all 15 reps with full ROM or without a little cheating). Also I don't intend for all the exercises to be done with the same weight. Curls might be more than triceps, wrist curls should definitely be done with heavier weights than reverse wrist curls.

If you or anyone has any questions let me know. Oh, and don't let your doctor give you any shots!

Where  can I find the article again?  Had elbow issues on and off for years from shooting.  Thanks

    1. Deep hole - hydrate and top mag off, mental prep and check Cmore lens is clear - tape
    2. In the Hole - put mags on belt take cover off Gun - mental prep again
    3. On Deck - Prep hands as needed - walk stage last time more mental prep
    4. Make ready one more mental run ...grip'em and ripp'em ?

I use soundgear, I will put over the ear muffs on when I'm RO'ing an open shooter inside, but that's the only time. I haven't experienced any adverse situations. Regarding your other question about what is the best by consensus, that's a pretty tough question. Everyone that bought them did so for different reasons and people don't like to admit when they make a mistake:D, then there are the shooters that are sponsored (or partially sponsored) by hearing protection companies, what else are they going to say?

Point well taken and appreciate the feedback.

Do you store your magazines loaded or unloaded between matches? And why?

I unload at end of matches , during match I preload to within last two rounds then top off when in the deep hole as part of my routine.

When I go to a match or practice, the world's troubles or life goes on hold until I leave. Shooting allows me to compartmentize those items of life for a few hours.

One of the best parts of our sport that calm sense of focus.....adrenalin isn't bag either?

I suspect that the ports simply add to the force directed upward along with the comp's chambers.

Agreed, provides downward force to drive gun back down.  To how much...not sure.
