Back for our 9th year.
This years High Desert Classic will be August 8-11, with the RO's shooting on the 8th and 9th.
With Nationals moving to September, we moved the match up. Should not have any wind.
Match application will be up in the next couple of weeks.
-
Look for around the same weekend next year.

But Ray, now where am I going to get all of my equipment and skin sandblasted for free??? Just kidding. This is a great match that everyone who can make it to should attend.
Neomet,
Come on out for a monthly match in April. We can probably take care of your sandblasting then.

For our 8th year, Rio Grande Practiacl Shooting Club will be hosting the High Desert Classic.
Match dates are set for September 27-30, with the RO's shooting on the Sept. 27 and 28.
We have heard the complaints about the wind, and hopefully Mother nature will cooperate this year. September is typically one of the best months for weather, in Abq.
More information will be coming soon.

I have been using VVN320 for years in my .40, using the 185 Precision Bullets. Clean burning and very little smoke. I have used Titegroup behind 147 Precisions, for minor and it is a little smokey.

My condolences. Losing a father is a tough time.

Today is truely a sad Day. Jake was diagnosed with Leukemia yesterday. This afternoon, he is playing fetch with my Dad. I know that he is no longer hurting, but my heart is broken. Seven years was not enough time to spend with a dog like Jake. May he Rest in Peace, until it is my turn to through his next ball.

Two questions?
How new are your Mag Springs? I installed new Wolf +10% springs in my 75B mags and they need to break in, or will have feed issues.
How old is the recoil spring? Many feed errors are caused by weak Recoil springs.

I have been running the Precision 185 Grn RNFP in my 75B. I did have to load them to factory length, my STI loads would not feed. I have been using the EGW U die, with no problems.

I have no plans to make the Trek to DTR this year. Is there a location to download an App?
-
Where can you find an App.? Didn't make last years, I was hoping to make this years.
-
Just started shooting my 75B in production. I really like the way it shoots. The Phantom is not currently on the production approved list, so to shoot a CZ, you will be stuck with the Shadow, or your 75B.

Outstanding!
Not sure if I can work it this year. But, I will be there regardless.
