Nice grips dude!
Thanks Hakan was very easy to work with from start to finish, he wanted me to be very pleased with the grips. I also think he produces some of the best looking grips around.

I feel that that the pistol is now complete.
Again a thanks to everyone involved. Paul B for answering my questions and providing insight, Benny Hill for his quality work in building a superb pistol, John Harrison for the S&A Magwell blended to frame, and Hakan Pek for the hand crafted Olivewood smooth grips.

I truly didn't know Airsoft was so advanced, all I've got to say is INCREDIBLE.

I really like the 2 tone look. When I get my SS done, it will be just like that.
Why 2 tops ?
BTW, the S&A magwell usually needs to be blended this requiring refinishing. Might ask Benny what he'd recommend. Perhaps a Techwell.
I chose the 2 slides in the case I ever decide to compete in divisions that don't allow a bull barrel with slide cuts.
It is my understanding I would be legal with a 5 inch bushing barrel and no slide cuts. That would be the reason
for the two slides.
I also understand from talking with a gentleman whose opinion I trust highly a magwell necessarily doesn't have to be blended just won't be as smooth on the inside of the magwell. However I understood the magwell could be added without blending as mentioned blending would require a complete refinish on the frame.

Nice looking Blaster.
I just received mine from Benny a few weeks ago. Now I just have to get to the range. Again thanks Benny for the build. I hope to work on another project with him before this year ends.

Hello: I remember that one before it was built and when it was still in the white. It has a great slide to frame fit on both slides. I bet it shoots very well. Would be a great limited 10 pistol by just adding a S&A magwell. Thanks, Eric
I take it you must know Benny. I will eventually be adding a S & A Magwell, I just have to decide which one. I understand to its something I could do on my own and not that hard to install.

Thanks Edward.
Edward wanted a one of kind custom gun & did not want this gun for competition hence the full length frame.
Benny did a great job for you, worth the wait, huh?
Great looking blaster, Ed. Congrats
Yes, definitely worth the wait.

I owe a great thanks to baerburtchell a member of this sight who answered my many questions and provided suggestions to me on my first custom build.
So I share with you my first custom build. The custom was built by Benny Hill of Triangle Shooting Sports.
Single Stack.45 built utilizing STI Master Frame and Unique Slides finished in Ion Bond and frame in Hard Chrome.

Thanks to all those who have replied.
The type I would like to build is the Limited. I will be utlizing the the STI 2011 Tactical Rail Fram Kit or 5" Long Wide Frame undecided yet. The caliber I would like to use is .45.
I emailed Bob at Brazos and like his slide lightening, but unfortunately he doesn't do this for slides in .45 caliber.

I'm new to the forum just signed up to get advice and learn from the people on this forum.
I'm in the process of my first custom build will have a few questions as I go. My first question
1. I see some pretty neat ways of slide lightening holes drilled, slots cut, etc. Where do you send your slide to have this done or who does this type of service?
2. I'm also going to using the STI 2011 Tactical Rail Frame Kit, Now this could be ordered with the uncut or cut ramp. How do I know what to order or could the individual doing my cutom build do this?
Look forward to hearing from everyone.
