If it is your duty gun........you better check w/ your firearms instructor first. I would also check your Dept policy and procedure, I wouldn't won't to testify in court on that one!!! B safe and trust no one on the street!!
Absolutely check with your dept. (firearms instructor) before changing to any other ammo. We have ammo assigned to us. No deviation allowed. Period.

I would say---
First the eyes
Then the head and upper body/arms - - - at the same time
Lower body and legs-- only if required.
I agree here the body will follow where the eyes go. Move the eyes first and the gun sights will follow to where your eyes are. Of course practice practice practice.

I use a drill similar to this one when I go to the range to warm up. I think the one main difference I saw was I usually start from the holster.

Go to the range and shoot lots of rounds through both weapons and see which one works the best for you. I love the Glock for my purpose in life.

Hello everybody. My name is Scott. I am new to this forum but not to shooting. I enjoy surfing around the pistol forums for different points of view and shooting styles. I am a Ga. certified firearms instructor so I am always interested in new ways of looking at things. Love new ideas on courses of fire and such. Anyway from what I see browsing this forum before registering I think I am going to enjoy it here. Hope to meet lots of new friends and possibly run into some old ones from other boards that I haven't seen in a while.
