thats the one....not a bad price either...
-
i noticed the same, though i havent pinched myself yet. i ordered a new 2011 grip and seeing its made for 126mm mags im gonna trim it just enough to fit my VIP so the mags sit perfect..... i should say attempt to.....
-
definately start with polishing the feed ramp and tune the mags..... thats the firs thing i do now on all my sti's
-
had that happen with my first sti ranger II, gunsmith had to hit it so hard it tweaked the sight, he fitted the new sight perfect. said the only sight that was worse was in a kahr

held one a few weeks ago, wish i had bought it.... really really nice gun,
-
another +1 for the the monkey grips.......
-
looks great in hard chrome, could never find one locally in hard chrome to see in person, but looks sweet...great pic
-
congrats, thats a beautiful gun......
-
sweet, love the red grip....
-
have a glock 17 i built for competition, but still like my 2011 better,
-
savage 10 BA 6.5 creedmoor rifle..... very sweet rifle
-
im using a leupold mark 4 6.5-20x50 on mine and love it, great scope for the money
-

demon tactical make their own quick pins, real nice, they are black, but call him and see if he can make them silver
-
i set my pof up for 3-gun, i have an acog 4x, and i use the dueck defense offset sights, great for 100 yard and close up....
-
i had a ruger sr556 that wa horrible, the fit was so sloppy i could drop a nickel in betweeen the upper and lower.....had horrible groupings. they warrantied it without issue and the new on was much tighter and shot way better
-
i have 2 of them in my ar's....really like them, dont seem to get as dirty as quick, didnt use the hammers that came wit them though
-
ive been considering it.....stil thinking about it......
-
i use liberty coating in connecticut, very reasonable, does top notch work, has prices listed right on website as well
-
cerakote would be the cheapest and looks good, nickel teflon looks sweet also.....
-
i would get a new one as a backup, then try it on the old grip and see if it works, the grips seem cheap enough....... i wish i could find a nice sti grip in the VIP length without having to cut it down, will be doing that in a few weeks when it arrives.
-
i think cerakote is great, had a few of my 1911's done in it, the slide to frame fit seems so much slicker and smoother, feels like glass......
-
i just bought a sear spring from brownells, cant remember the brand but is was just a hair to short, thought i was loosing my mind for second, just a hair short where it sat on the sear .
-
my choice would start with a STI 1911.....
would never buy a kimber again, 2 frames cracked on mine, could be my luck.....
