  1. IPSCDRL, Thanks for the compliment. My first job out of college was at the famous musket mill in Ilion NY. At that time, the company's bread and butter was shotguns, and I was in the design area. I had better have learned something while I was there...

Now, I put that explanation in there so that breid and airframe mech could check out their guns properly, and then report back to us on what went wrong so we could all be smarter next time. SO, bried and airframe mech, what happened? Does anybody know what they are talking about here? Are your guns running again? We really want to know if what we said did you any good.

Looks like I just need to file some off the speedloader. Funny thing is it works fine when I go to function fire it but when I shoot a match it won't hold the bolt open when empty. Must be the way I hold it in a match is different then when just testing it.

  2. I'm no shotgun expert or 110 expert but I have a feeling the loads are too light or the gas system isn't working exactly right. Have you replaced the O-ring? Cleaned the gas system well? If the bolt doesn't come all the way back during cycling, it isn't going to lock back.

YMMV, & of course someone else will chime in with the exact right answer. You might check these things, though. :D MLM

I thought about that but it is also doing it with Wolf Slugs, This is a non magnum gun and has been working fine. It is an older gun that I got used so I may have to replace the gas rings.

  3. It could be short cycling, try shooting a few high brass shells and see if that helps. If it works with the heavy loads, you might need to port the barrel to work with light loads. If it does not work with the heavy loads either, you may have a bent pin or part inthe gun.

What pin would I need to check out?
