    6 stages saturday rifle/pistol

    6 stages sunday shotgun/pistol

    furthest walk from one end to the other will be about 300-400 yards

    you will shoot with a squad and move together from stage to stage

    timer is only running when you are shooting

    targets will range from flash targets to speed plates, etc

    mgm spinner, stars, etc furthest rifle targets about 300 yards

    slugs out to 100

    dinner provided saturday night

    One long gun/pistol and all related equipment for the whole day on the competitor’s body. Combat/snivel gear/ammo---what you leave the car with is all you have for the whole day. Carry anything you want, but remember, you must carry it all day. Long guns remain slung except during “stand downs” while waiting at next stage.
    SATURDAY: Carbine .223 or larger-250 rounds with 4 mags.
    Battle rifle .308 or larger-175 rounds with 4 mags (carbine two hits/paper, battle rifle one hit/paper)
    Any sighting combination allowed.
    NO ARMOR PIERCING/GREEN TIP/STEEL JACKETED BULLETS
    100 rounds pistol minimum with @ least 3 mags. 9mm or larger, iron sights only.
    4 inch fixed blade knife and canteen/hydration system.
    0800-1700.
    SUNDAY: 12GA. Shotgun, 100 shot (buck okay) and 20 slugs.
    No optics, no compensator, 9 rounds max at start.
    100 rounds pistol minimum with @ least 3 mags. 9mm or larger, iron sights only.
    4 inch fixed blade knife and canteen/hydration system.
    0800-1400.

    All firearms must remain in same configuration entire match.
    No changing of magazine tubes or removal/additions of sighting systems.

    General match, with the following divisions:
    tac ops

    No prize table.

    I'm not sure who is running this match, but the Tidewater 3-gun crew moved down to work with Tarheel 3-gun after they had to stop shooting matches at Academi.

    The Tarheel crew did a great job, both with registration (online only, filled up fast) and the match itself.

    I'm looking forward to this one, since I only live an hour away.

    This is news to me :goof:

    We would be more than happy to assist Tarheel but at this point nobody has asked us to.

    6 stages will be shot on Saturday August 30th. A random draw of shooters will be held for a Glock 42 as well as other prizes.

    We are pleased to announce another year partnering with Tidewater 3-Gun for the Shoot House Shoot Out.

    May 17-18 2014

    IDPA: 12 Stages on Saturday.
    3 Gun: 5 Stages on Saturday and Sunday.
    4 Stage IDPA(ish) side match: Saturday Night (all blind stages).
    Other side matches: to be announced.
