  1. I am looking to buy a scope mount for my M1A. Looking hard at the Sadlak Aluminum. I don't want to spend more than $200.00. I do want a mount thats a "see thru". It's not going to be a competition rifle. Just a fun gun. Thanks.

  2. I have used the Rooster Lube. It's easy to use, you pour it over the bullets and let it drain off. It dries clear and hard but there is one big downside. It tends to collect inside the seating die and will change your OAL. It was more trouble than it was worth for me. I still use the Lee lube for most practice bullets.

  3. Sometimes in IDPA I'll shoot my S&W Revo. Currently using Hogue Monogrip with finger grooves. I'm thinking about switching to the Miculek wood grips. Before I spend the money, anybody have any feedback back? I know grips get personal, but respect all input. Thanks

  4. I've used several 9mm's, but I've only used a S&W mod 19 and a 586. I don't load to max. I load to about a 135 power factor. I've had no leading issue's. The lead I've been buying is running 356. I've never checked the bore diameter on either S&W. It just saved me from buying two different bullets. Call me cheap.

  5. Just so we are on the same page. I've been casting bullets and reloading for over 30 years. I wanted to try the Moly Powder to get away from lubing one bullet at a time. These lead bullets are hard cast, sized, then cleaned. I tumbled them with Moly and BB's for about 1 hour. Came out looking GREAT. Loaded up 25 and shot them today. DON'T do it. Talk about a leaded barrel. Worst I've ever had in almost 40 years of shooting. Very Hard to clean. I guess I'll have to go back to Lee Alox or Roosters but they are ugly bullets. Any Ideas???

  6. I just bought a new Ruger SR9. I really like it but it has a 8 pound trigger. When you take the slide off it looks like a Glock. I was told the original SR9's had a decent trigger pull before they were recalled. Any ideas how to get the trigger pull down?

  7. For the last several years I have been using Break Free oil on all my guns in both summer and winter. I have been playing with Mobil 1 0W-20 weight fully synthetic oil on some pistols. Seems to work just fine at a fraction of the cost of Break Free. Has anyone tried this or other similiar motor oils?
