I use a FL Redding resize die and make sure it is almost contacting the shell plate. I reload range pick up brass where people shoot 9 major frequently. Sometimes there is a case that is tough to run through or it cracks during resizing. But I've never had issues with the final product except for raised primers which is on me.

I never tried to replace the spring on the factory guide rod. They are not designed to be replaced. I switched to a CGW stainless guide rod and spring set but later decided on a W74 tungsten guide rod and 14# spring that I bought from Stonebridge. https://stonebridgegunworks.com/w74-tungsten-guide-rod-kit-czp-10f.html The W74 set up adds additional weight to the front of the gun which I like better.
I was trying to avoid buying a replacement guide rod. But if thats what I need to run a different spring, I'll go for it.

I recently bought a new P10F (mfg date stamp 2023) which came with a SS captured guide rod. I bought a 14.5# CGW recoil spring but the diameter of the spring is too large and comes off the flanged end of the guide rod when under compression. It seems maybe CZ recently switched from polymer to a captured metal guide rod for the F? Does anyone have any experience with springs that work with the stock captured guide rod?

I picked up a SBGW spring and a Primary Machine guide rod since CGW was showing out of stock everywhere I was seeing. Hopefully between the two reduced springs I have, one will work ha.
