I'm not looking to avoid someone but I am looking to avoid being the only participant in Limited-10. I enjoy the challenge of a lo cap magazine, but many of the matches where I shoot only have 1 or 2 people in Limited-10 which isn't really enough to be interesting.
All matches will only have 1 or 2 in L10 if any. If you go that way expect to play by yourself. I worked 8 majors this year and the only L10 shooter I can remember was the same guy at a couple of different matches.

agreed. lim optics/open nationals, and then do a 1 day pcc thing as an afterthough if you can get the RO's to hang around.
So, are you going to pay my room and expenses to hang for another day? CO Nationals is already 5 days plus 4 days travel. I'm retired so I won't miss work.

I went to the standby list on several matches during the last year two years, for every one I was picked up to shoot, only once was with less than a weeks notice to find a room.

Range Officers are NROI trained, not NRA. There is a big difference

Am I missing something? A paper GM doesn't effect me. I'm bothered by the C class shooter that shoots at M or high A level at a major, wins the class and doesn't get bumped up. Next match, I have to deal with the same people again!
