  1. Will be aiming for about 168 pf with these loads. Any powder advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks guysHI guys, going to pick your brains for some info on loading.. A friend of mine gave me about 10,000 175 lswc bullets and I decided to load them for practice rounds. Been loading plated bullets with TG powder, was wondering if there is a better powder for the lead bullets than TG. Have not loaded lead for awhile and dont remember what powder I was using.

I like Winchester WSF with 180 gr. lead bullets. It burns cleanly at the higher end of the recommended loads. It also fills the case nicely making double charges easy to identify... Illini

  2. I picked up 500 rounds of 40 S&W 155 gr. RN FP West Coast plated bullets. I am looking for some good loads for general range use-- not too harsh or not too mild. I have a pretty good supply of the following powders on hand: Titegroup, Win 231, Win WST, and regular Clays. I will be using Win Small Pistol Primers and mixed cases. I am planning on shooting them through a Glock, USP, and Steyr M40.

I did a search on the website, but did not turn up much info for 155 gr. RN FP plated bullets. Can anyone help me? Please specify your load including OAL and crimp. Thanks for your help. There are good folks here. Regards...Illini
