So I found the culprit cleaned and lubed but it still is way off as far as alignment.  Ill have to call Dillon when I get a chance.

I took everything apart and cleaned.  It still seems to be binding up and I cant get the primer tray to line up with the 2nd station.  Any ideas?  I randomly lines up like every 10th pull.

Im thinking about getting an mpa but all my other grips are cheely dont really feel like having to change inserts.  I currently have the infinity insert.

Not to hi jack Op.  But does an island barrel make a different on both lengths?  Slide should move fast but the added weight might not be worth it?  I dont know I really want an Island barrel thet look cool ha

Machine run time is triple with steel vs aluminum.  Im assuming that would be the difference.

Ok so heres a question.  Will an island barrel on either size mentioned shoot any flatter than a standard bull barrel.  Is island barrel only optimal on an open build?

It stopped working and I had to send it back for warranty.  Then I sold it.  I only got it cuz It looked cool.

Im in a weird space with this.  I probably wont shoot LO but I love a sick 2011 w/ slide optic.  Part of me is saying go big or go home.  But my wallet is say buy a prodigy and just upgrade over time.  Im thinking of D2 but Im not sure he does island barrels.  Candy mountain looks really cool but I havent seen a finished one yet.  Or just stick to my shadow 2.

I currently have a sig 3xl but I think I am going to the rts2.  How much smaller is the window size?  I like the window size of the sig but I had to return for warranty and kind of over it.

Is it cheaper in the long run to sell the 38 and find a 9 or is getting a new slide fit a reasonable expense?  Ive been trying to sell but no takers yet.

up here in NH there's very little of it now. it's what i used to prioritize for matches, be it in NH RI, MA or ME.  RI recently passed horrid laws, MA looks to be trying to as well but there weren't many to start, and the M# one doesn't do it anymore. there's one practically up in canada in VT but that's a real long drive for me, and the NH matches are either gone or half the schedule has converted to 2gun action challenge type.

 

maybe i'm just getting old as i used to make fun of the guys complaining about the volume of gear.... but it IS a LOT!  i use one small range bag for uspsa even lvl3 matches. plus i haven't seen the ability to replace my shotgun ammo with any certainty since covid insanity started.

My issue with the CED is its so small and i keep leaving it at the range.  The grounds keeper is well aware of it and we are on a first name basis because of it being turned in lol.  I did just get a bright orange case for it.

Im trying to set up my square deal b for 38 sc but not really able to figuring the whole set up out so ill leave it at 9mm and just buy 38 when its on sale or I find it.  Might be time for an upgrade if Im going to stick with it.  I was playing with springs because Im only shooting eley ammo right now.  I found some armscor that shoots real flat but im running low.

FWIW, after many bad experiences, I wouldn't use STI or Caspian even if you gave me the parts for free.
