Alamstutz
I am wondering if there can be any problems associated with loading .357 with exactly the same powder, weight and bullet as .38 special. I am thinking that it is much easier to load .357 cases for all my .357 revolvers, loading some with .38 special recipe and others with .357 recipe. Ideas and advice? Taroman
While it will work and be safe, you will lose some velocity and very likely accuracy, too.
Taroman
Another thought here. Try testing the same load with magnum primers. Sounds counter intuitive, but, in several cases, they gave me sightly lower Vmax, ES and SD.
