Pro2AInPA
Well I have officially completely run out of CCI small pistol primers. My local shop has Federal and Remington small pistol in stock. Which of those two would you guys recommend?

Chris Christian
If you're shooting a revolver go with Federal. If a semi-auto it makes no real difference. Chris Christian
Xfactor
What gun are you shooting? Federals are great for revos, and striker-fired guns (Glocks, M&Ps, XDs)

GrumpyOne
Federals, the Remingtons I've had a few issues with.
magicald_223
I like Winchesters or federals for auto pistols. CCIs are unnecessarily hard!!! for small pistol.
COMATZD
The Federals are a bit soft and if you've been using CCIs you shouldn't have a problem with just about any other primer. I've not had problems with either, but if you don't have to worry about pressures the Federals will be just fine.
thefish
I've been using Winchester small pistol primers for my Titegroup 180gr Montana Gold recipe for my Glock 35, 23 and Sig P229 for years. I love it and guess what, friends...I'm out of WSP primers! What would you guys suggest that would involve the least headaches and recipe changes (if I was able to get them) CCI? Federal? The people at Powder Valley say that Wolfe SP primers are "orderable" but admit there have been problems with their size. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance, RIF Hey, BTW, when is this insanity going to end ?!?!?!
