Y. Koester
This may be the wrong place for this question but here goes. Does anyone know if it is legal to send a AR upper to the Czech republic??
Jadeslade
Might be, but may be way expensive. I think it comes under the new ITAR regulations (interpretations). Probably need to contact the State Department.
laportecharlie
I think I would just stay away from that one. Charlie Edited January 8, 2010 by laportecharlie

smokshwn
You can probably do it, but it will be more trouble than it is worth. Maybe Chuck or Mike from Shootersconnection can chime in on international shipping.
Ronnie j
Do you know if its considered a firearm or parts in that country? Not all countries have the same laws regarding what is or isn't a controlled part.Call an exporter or freight expediter they would know how to find out. patrickbeijer
I had a shooter from the states bring me 2 new JP uppers there when i was shooting a match there ,he also sold his own upper and left the country with a empty lower. He had no problems, and neither did i ,but i do not live there and had made arrangements with my own country laws and permits. Tsechie is one off the most easiest countries in europe on gun laws ,but the person you ship to is the one that is reponsible iff he is not upholding his countries laws. twodownzero
My intuition suggests that while it was once legal, it is probably not anymore.
