Get'em Duck Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 You guys that post videos, how do you make them smaller? I've shot videos of my buddies and I and we can't email them or post them cause they are too big how do you reduce them? I know shooting stages faster would help , is there another way?
Aristotle Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 Are you saying that it's too large to upload? I've never had that issue before and I will usually hosts 4-7 minute videos on Youtube.
Get'em Duck Posted December 28, 2009 Author Posted December 28, 2009 No, not to up load to you tube, but to email to friends and family? Video's run about 50mb???
Aristotle Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 Ah, gotcha. Compress the video files using winzip, and/or upload it to a file share sight like Rapidshare. I think they allow up to 100mb.
Flexmoney Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 I'd just upload them to youtube and send them a link.
TonyG35 Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 I'd just upload them to youtube and send them a link. This is probably the best way. If you don't like the exposure of youtube and you want better video quality there are other sites available like Blip.tv Also, once you have your video on a site like Blip.tv it is easy to embed that video to your personal website. I assume you can do this with youtube video as well but not sure.
