GmanGT
Hello All, Newbie here. I was going over Henning’s Video Tutorial on how to disassemble the lower frame; I’m a left handed shooter and wanted to convert my Tanfoglio Limited HC into a left hand shooter. I got to the point where I needed to remove the Trigger pin but ended up bending my pin plunger as I could not get the pin out . . . Is this normal, are they in there that tight? Also I see they are hollow, would you recommend replacing it all together? Thanks to all!! Gman GT PS: Henning please try to see my mail on parts for Guatemala! CHA-LEE
Are you using a punch to knock out the trigger roll pin? Can you post some pic's of what you are having an issue with? Once you get the trigger pin out I would suggest replacing it with Henning's dedicated Torx screw and Nut that he uses with his flat trigger kit. Getting everything back together with his Torx screw is a lot easier than using the stock roll pin.
GmanGT
Thanks CHA-LEE, I will get some pics uploaded later today. I had not considered the torx screw instead of a replacement pin and think that would be the best idea. While im at it I might as well fo for the whole Flat trigger Kit. GmanGT
Hello all, just wanted to update on the pin situation. I received my package from Henning a few days ago and last night sat down to make a few installs on my gun. I was able to get the Trigger pin out with the pin removal tool Henning Provided (Thanks Henning) just goes to show you need the correct tools to get things done. (Although, it was very hard to get out). Apparently there is a lot of pressure on that small pin forcing the Trigger in its place. Once out I was able to adjust the Mag release to the left hand position. Reassembly . . . Now that was hard, no let me rephrase that, it was very hard! I used a small plastic tube as a slave pin as recommended by Henning after almost an hour of playing with the new trigger pin I was able to get it through. I now regret not doing the entire flat trigger system as I don’t believe I will be doing this any time soon again. Unfortunately as Henning had mentioned on his web site, the bolt for the new trigger does not always fit the frame and that was my situation. I had to file the corners down a bit to get it to fit the small notch on the side of the frame. I swapped out the guide rod, guide spring, firing ping, installed amby safety but left the hammer, hammer spring and sear for the next time I completely disassemble the gun. Also I want to install the slide stop pin but I’m a bit confused. When installing the slide stop pin it replaces the original factory slide stop lever? Or does it go into the old lever somehow? Sorry for the newby question but last night my brain gave out.

This way the gun can not accidently go to slide lock. The new trigger is awesome by the way. Much Much easier to get in and out.

Anything out there to cover the lever lock hole? Edited February 14, 2010 by GmanGT
