msromike
What does this phrase mean in "spirit," "Factory configuration is meant to include firearms able to be purchased by the general public and not experimental." If I replace the stock on my 870 12 ga to a synthetic recoil reducing stock, with a traditional style profile, what class is that? To me that phrase creates more questions than it answers. Perhaps the rule could give examples? Thanks, Mike
bigbrowndog
You are the general public, if you purchased the stock retail or its available to the general public you are OK. If its a demo model or available to you only because you made it or acquired it from the maker and its one of only a few, then NO its not OK. Chills1994
cough*division*cough Just curious...whereabouts are you reading the term "spirit"?
StealthyBlagga
Under most 3-gun rules, I believe a recoil reducing stock (like the Knoxx stock) will put you in open. A simple rubber recoil pad is OK.
