Looks like they'll be leaving early.....yep...I like the snow too..... on second thought, they could all be stuck in my house. Then I would hate the snow..... Edited December 19, 2009 by McGunner
Sarge Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Yep I love snow too. BUT my job requires managing snow removal in the winter months so when it snows I work, day, night, weekend, holidays. But I still love snow.

Seth Posted December 19, 2009 Author Posted December 19, 2009 We've got about a foot and its still snowing. I'm south of Richmond by about 25 miles. I did enjoy the donuts in the walmart parking lot this morning though! Gotta let the inner child breathe!
Bigpops Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Southern Maryland forecast states 1-2 feet. Were close to a foot now. Snow is nice but the winds are strong. Gusts up to 35mph. Wood stove is cooking and generator is standing by.
Seth Posted December 19, 2009 Author Posted December 19, 2009 They did a big project here clearing the foliage from around all the above ground powerlines back to my neighborhood over the summer. Thus far its working!
NovaShooter Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 I am in Ashburn, VA near Dulles Airport. So far we are up to 21" and I have shoveled my driveway 4 times today. The schools have already been canceled for Mon and Tues. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!!
Seth Posted December 19, 2009 Author Posted December 19, 2009 My answer to shoveling is the same as it ever was. BIGGER 4WD!!! I jumped in my Jeep this am and never slowed down.
maineshootah Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Checking on the news... you all stay safe down there.. big snow is one thing.. mass power outages and very dangerous travel is another.
