burntcrispy
Does you Benelli function reliably with light target loads? Thank you. My Benelli functions flawlessly with ANY type of SG ammo put in it. I think the gas guns tend to have more problems with various ammo. The Benelli definately has more felt recoil than the gas guns though.
00bullitt
They seem to be hit or miss dependant on the ammo used. The shotgun will most likely be the least reliable gun in your 3 gun battery. Use good ammo and it should run just fine. I see the biggest problem for reliability with the Benellis is the use of the pistol grip stock. Jesse Tischauser
I haven't found anything that won't run in my M1 or M2. I have a box of those low recoil Fiochi loads on order. I'll let you know how those run too. Edited December 18, 2009 by jtischauser
Fullauto_Shooter
My M2 choked on Winchester White box 7/8 ounce loads. It would feed maybe every other round - the rest I got failures to feed from the mag tube to the chamber.
bigbrowndog
My Benelli Novas, run everything So far I've not had any issues with my M1's either, although one of them had to have the standard recoil spring placed in it to run some lite slugs. trapr
HRider
So far, my M1 has ran everything that I have put in it. I have ran Walmart 100rd value packs of Winchester and Federal, Winchester 1oz "Super Speed", Remington reduced recoil slugs and 00, and Winchester AA light target. laportecharlie
My LH Montefeltro used to cycle light one ounce loads just fine. Since I put a Mercury filled end cap recoil reducer on it it no longer will cycle the light loads. Took me a few minutes to figure out why! NSiess
if it doesnt run quite right, send it to Benny Hill at Triangle Shooting Sports. with the work he does to them, the benelli will run anything.
